gotcha. it's a big difference - again especially considering curry was always injured and had that leap in him if he could get healthy.Edited. I typed it in wrong - it was 55.3%.

I think injury limited his availability but not his shooting %'s. His 3 pt %'s were actually even better his first 5 years.gotcha. it's a big difference - again especially considering curry was always injured and had that leap in him if he could get healthy.
you just highlighted why TS% is a superior stat to eFG. what his injury limited was his athleticism - his TS% jumped so much once he got healthy because he was able to get to the line. his FT rate jumped by about 50% from his first four seasons to the rest of his career. you can't have a complete picture of offensive efficiency if you ignore a guy's ability to shoot and make FTs.I think injury limited his availability but not his shooting %'s. His 3 pt %'s were actually even better his first 5 years.
He just didn't shoot anywhere close to as many 3's as he should've on a per possession basis. Once he did, it propelled him to one of the greatest players of all-time status. Mitchell's already been shooting a high volume of 3's.
That actually hurts your argument. Don, who is a great offensive weapon, probably isn’t scoring as much his first couple years if there were better offensive options on the team. Ellis took shots and opportunities away from Curry. One season comparison? Cute.....
Please tell me these vast difference numbers.
Oh, and be sure to take into account that Curry got to play with Monta Ellis who averaged 24ppg when he played with Curry. And Curry got to play with Klay Thompson for 3 of his first five years. And Draymond Green. And Andre Iguodala.
Through their first 5 seasons, Curry and Donovan are very comparable.
As you know, using PPG, RPG, APG, to make overall comparison is foolhardy. Efficiency matters. Role matters. Also, on a five year stretch, Mike Mitchell averaged 22.1 points per game. Same stretch, Abdul-Jabbar averaged 23.1 points per game.
Similar players.
Saying Mitchell isn’t Curry isn’t hateful, spiteful, or downgrading him. It’s just stating the obvious.Holy **** - a couple percentage points better when he is surrounded by better offensive players.
You got me guys. Steph was on another planet his first 5 years. No comparison at all.
You lame asses will do anything to downgrade Donovan Mitchell. You just hate the guy. So pathetic for so called fans. You guys would rather lose on purpose than support Donovan Mitchell. You are disgraceful fans.

Helps Curry's efficiency when he's not being the focus of attention. That actually hurts your argument. Don, who is a great offensive weapon, probably isn’t scoring as much his first couple years if there were better offensive options on the team. Ellis took shots and opportunities away from Curry.
I made a mistake. It's actually a big difference (55.3% to 51.2%).Holy **** - a couple percentage points better when he is surrounded by better offensive players.
I don't know if you're aware of how you come off when you do this. There's good points being made and instead of addressing them, you just throw a tantrum. It's childish as hell. You got me guys. Steph was on another planet his first 5 years. No comparison at all.

4%. Holy ****. 4%. Did that help him get to the playoffs every year?I made a mistake. It's actually a big difference (55.3% to 51.2%).

We're so lame you should probably stop watching the Jazz so our lameness doesnt rub off on you oh righteous one.Helps Curry's efficiency when he's not being the focus of attention.
Pick an argument guys. You can't take every angle.
Don has been the absolute focus of our opponent's defense for 4.5 years. What he has done, has been pretty legendary. But keep on bashing him lame *** fans.
