The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

For a team that looked like it had finally imploded, the twolves looked awfully good last night. If they play like that against Denver, then that series is going to be a lot of fun.

Well he will serve a heck of a suspension when he is in prison I guess. POS. Anyone that goes after their partner like that needs to go down for it.
He was averaging 20 pts prior to this. If the last few years have taught me anything it’s that tribes will overlook horrific acts of barbarism and cruelty if you give them what they want. You don’t have to like the guy. But if he gives you something? *shrug* Someone will pay him good money to score 20+ pts for them.

People who claim to have evidence of secret conspiracies are like my cat. They think they rule the universe and the world revolves around them. Because of this, they incessantly yowl into the night in a desperate cry for attention and when you finally give it to them, it's typically to present a big steaming turd. And for some reason, they are awfully proud of it despite the fact it just stinks. After that, they run off for no reason, yowl for more attention, and start the cycle all over again.

At first I thought it was some politician.. I mean look at the photo he uses.. lol..

Then I noticed the named “Enes” and was like.. WFT?!.!.

So what is the NBA lying about? That they had Kanter blacklisted for his political beliefs?

Would be easier to believe if he wasn't almost unplayable on defense in his prime and now he's in his 30's.

What’s the reason for this mid season tournament?
Try to incentivize competition because tanking is a thing but so is contenders replete with 30-something year old stars resting their guys a third of the season in preparation for the playoffs.

I know reducing the number of regular season games inextricably reduces revenue, but 82 games a year is seriously stupid. Hurts the product, hurts the competitiveness of each game, and literally hurts the players.

Here’s an idea: make a rule that eliminates back to back games without expanding the duration of the season. Use that to set the number of games (something like 75? IDK, but B2Bs are such an unnecessary risk).

Neither side wants to give up games and revenue. Eliminating back to backs seems like a reasonable amount of reduction… and maybe you could get there with 75 games.

I think they also want to mimic soccer… I just don’t think it will help all that much but whatevs. I’m generally for trying stuff and if it floos get rid of it.

That’s it? No other reason. No other benefit to winning other than money?
