Knicks vs Cavs 1st Round Series (Mitchell Getting *** Whooped by Brunson Season 2)

I haven't been paying much attention to the playoffs this season but did catch a bit of the Cavs/Knicks game last night. Don was the only guy on the Cavs who showed up. Garland was flat out awful chucking (and missing) shots....also appears a bit soft and doesn't like contact which makes sense as he's built like a rag doll.

The Knicks could've easily been the 2nd or 3rd best team in the EC if they had traded for Don. Brunson has obviously been dynamite for them all season long.

Not that I necessarily care, except for Cav draft pick ramifications ofc, but still believe Don ends up on the Knicks in '25.

Does not look great for old boy. Imagine going out in the first round to the team you really wanted to go too. Trade request coming in 3….2….

Rudy getting his *** kicked by a guy who is going to go down as a top 5 (maybe top 1 undisputed by I dont want to go too overboard) offensive center of all time.

Donovan Mitchell getting his *** kicked by a dude who hasnt made an All-Star game.

It's different.

The new Knicks FO did a really good job of building, and it really hasn't been done with high draft picks. Barrett and Toppin, sure they are helping, but it's really been a strong sequence a nailing smaller moves and later draft picks. Randle, Brunson, Quickley, Robinson, Grimes, Hart, Hartenstein. Fantastic job that shows how much you can get done without using premium resources.

This is ridiculous. Guarding Brunson this series hasn’t been Mitchell’s responsibility. It’s Gobert’s.

Is Garland wearing Kyrie shoes? I thought they discontinued that after his controversial stance..

Do we need to move the RIP thread from GD to here and add “Playoff Don”?

In a season or 2 the cavs will blow the whole team up after the failed don trade he will want out then our 1st rounders will be juicy

I'm pretty good at reveling in the misfortune of those I don't like but watching Donovan right now is painful even for me. Dude is crazy rattled.
