2023 Trade Rumors and Gossip Involving the Jazz

Some of these guys like JC and THT might need to go especially if they're drafting their replacements. I think JC wants to play for a contender. THT had his good and bad games, I don't know what Dunn's contract is but I thought he was more consistent when given a chance. Jazz need some vets to stay. I keep all three picks and try to move up if there is a player the Jazz really want but having good young talent helps with trading for a star in a year or two when the Jazz will be ready to compete. I am ready for the draft to start. I am waiting for summer league so Jazz fanz can begin bashing the picks if they don't play well. Which is another Jazz tradition. hahahahaha

Pick swaps probably won’t happen with any of the guys that have player options. The timing just doesn’t work. It basically limits the Jazz to using Sexton and KO for those types of deals.

I personally would love to see THT back. I think he’s just scratching the surface of his potential and he likely becomes a rotation player when they manage to get back into the playoffs.

Hoping THT somehow opts in before the draft so he can be something to trade or at worst another expiring contract. But I’m just not in on him as a top-7 rotation player on a contender. 6th man at best and I think there are better 6th men, otherwise I don’t think he fits into legit high-level lineups.

But yeah, he’s good. Good enough that he might leave $11 mil on the table for more money and good enough for an eye-of-the-beholder to love him. Wonder if Indiana would trade their latest 1st for him?

Harris has struggled with injury and makes like $20M on an expiring deal. THT makes 11M... that factors in pretty heavily here. It gets them close to out of the tax and gives them another ball in hand option as they already have a bunch of wings. I think it honestly isn't enough coming back our way if anything.
 
Cy wants us to take Walker at 6 and JHS at 9 if we did that trade? Thank the heavens that dude has nothing to do with the organization.

Could you imagine passing on one of the twins or Cam for Walker?
 
I keep seeing that everyone is expecting Peyton Pritchard to be traded to the Jazz. I use to think that he would be a fun pick up but the more I watch he has a tendency to over-dribble a lot. He is a good dribbler but come on move the ball more.

The trade I see is Pritchard and Gallinari for KO. Not sure how I feel about that since KO has A LOT more value than those 2 combined.

That does not sound like a good trade if those are the only 3 pieces.
 
Suns waived CP3... gonna save 15M after mortgaging the future on KD... smart.
 
This will get the Suns below the tax... I bet the waive and stretch him. Open up the full MLE. It still is super dumb... unless they know he's hurt or something. Super thin team likely not getting back all the decent minimum guys they had this year.

The KD trade is going to be bad religion for the Suns for the next 10 years.
