2023 NBA Draft Megathread

Oh, I took it as they are considering 9 guys who could be available at 9. You obviously take out Scoot/Amen/Miller/Wemby. So the added 4 would be Bilal, Bufkin, JHS, and George?
I just took the phrasing as the same that Tony had... like there is a Top 9... like if you were opening it up beyond that I doubt you'd be that specific. Like we are looking at 10 or so options.

This is stupid though... I need it to be draft day. I'm done reading tea leaves.

i read that the same as cy - as in, they are taking out 4 or 5 guys they are sure won't be there.

so cam, black, wallace, hendricks, dick, ausar, george, bilal, jhs, bufkin, etc.

Yeah, 9 is oddly specific. I read it the same as you and Ben.

9 is very specific though. Doesn’t make a lot of sense the way you’re saying it.

Another way to read it is... we are pick 9 so we are considering 9 options... like a true nothing burger.

idc if I am reading it any way anymore... I got bored of myself.

I don’t know why but just taking Hendricks at 9 is a little underwhelming… can’t exactly pinpoint why as he’s 8th on my big board but I just have higher aspirations.
