The Biden Administration and All Things Politics

Voters cited a number of policy areas that disappointed them, including insufficient moves to address climate change and Biden’s inability to fully cancel student loan debt or codify Roe v. Wade, as the president deals with a closely divided Congress. However, Biden’s response to the Israel-Hamas war may be having the greatest effect on his relationship with this voter bloc.

Austin Kapp, a 25-year-old living in Castle Rock, Colorado. “I mean, he could have codified Roe v. Wade"
While Biden and Democrats pushed to codify the protections of Roe at the federal level, congressional realities made legislative efforts impossible. A vote to codify Roe in May 2022 failed in the Senate, with Biden lashing out at Republicans afterward and urging voters to “elect more pro-choice senators this November, and return a pro-choice majority to the House.”

Camarena’s feelings toward Biden now are worse. She works for CalFire and is passionate about addressing climate change. She says she was “turned off” when the Biden administration approved the controversial Willow oil drilling project in Alaska.

“It made me really angry,” she said. “He painted himself as, you know, trying to advance or improve climate change.”

The NBC News national poll, conducted more than a month after the start of the Israel-Hamas war, shows 70% of voters under 35 disapproving of Biden’s handling of the war.

So voters are saying they wont vote for biden because he isn't cancelling student loan debt, he isn't addressing climate change, and he isn't making abortion more legal/accessible.
Do these people think that not voting for biden and helping trump win the presidency will get student loan debt cancelled, help with climate change, and make abortion more legal and accessible? Trump wants to do none of that.

They also think that biden hasn't handled the israel/hamas war well. Its not our war! What is biden supposed to do? From what i have seen he has been trying to get cease fires and trying to tell israel leader to stop/ease up on the attacking. Isn't that what he should be doing?
The student loan thing just goes to show how awful our media is at informing people. How is it his fault that the Supreme Court ruled that his forgiveness action was unconstitutional? And the legislative path didn’t exist because there weren’t 60 votes in the senate. Wanna be angry at somebody? Be angry at republicans for not providing democrats with the 10 necessary votes to pass student loan forgiveness.

I’d love for voters to list 2 things that the Republican House or Senate has done for them in the past 10 years.

Odds are they just won't vote. Which is as good as a vote for Trump.

It feels like an off-shoot of cancel culture. I'll just cancel him and it will fix everything because I showed my displeasure. People incapable of thinking past their right to protest and not taking any consequences into consideration at all.
it's bizarre eh so those who wanted student load debt cancelled, Biden to not support Israel as strongly etc think Trump will be better for them ?? lol

No, they think Biden needs to be taught a lesson. Because they aren't thinking about it at all. It's purely reactionary. I'm mad so I'll walk away from you to make a statement, even if it means walking right into incoming traffic.

The Supreme Court struck down Biden’s student loan forgiveness. The Senate didn’t have 60 votes for it. How is that Biden’s fault? Want to be angry at somebody? Be angry at republicans in the senate for not supporting it. Be angry at the Supreme Court.

It’s crazy how this story was published when it happened and is easily searchable by most internet search engines. People should actually read about a topic before bloviating. What a concept!

I know this is old fashioned but I really wish the electorate would know at least something about the topics they claim to be angry about.

Traditional family values right there.

We used to call what the wife did hypocritical. But in a post reality world, where 40-50 percent of the country will defend their tribe no matter how hypocritical they act, it just doesn’t matter. It does seem like those who cry the most about the decline of values are the ones with the most amount of skeletons in the closet.
More gay sex videos from Moms for Liberty founder and her rapist husband

I wish Republican perverts would stop grooming people. Maybe focus on themselves instead of banning books or attacking teachers. These people are really sick!

What I don't get is this propensity to video every ****ing thing someone does. Are they really that hard up for stimulation they need their own porn with videos of everything they do? How long until they uncover videos of the guy engaging in autoerotic asphyxiation with other men while naked children and donkeys frolic in the background. Hey I'm generally a fan of fetishes but the fetish to video everything is just stupid.

(See what I did there...."every ****ing thing"...."hard up"....heh)

So the gold standard and I had a discussion about electoral voting vs popular vote. During the discussion he said he prefers electoral voting. He also said he hates the two party system and wishes more people would vote for the independent/3rd party candidate.

Well arguably the most successful independent/3rd party candidate of all time is Ross Perot. He got 18.9% of the total votes! 19,743,821 votes! You know how many electoral votes he got in that election? ZERO. Lol. 19,743,821 voters votes were thrown in the trash. Why the hell would anyone ever vote for a candidate who isn't a republican or democrat if we continue to use our current stupid system to determine the winner?

The two parties love the electoral system. If you hate the two party system then you should hate the electoral system of voting.

“Did you hear what he said yesterday, or a couple days ago?” Rogan asked his guest, MMA fighter Bo Nickal, in an exchange first flagged by Mediaite. “He’s talking about the Revolutionary War. He’s like, ‘One of the reasons why we lost the Revolutionary War ... was that they didn’t have enough airports.’”

“If you were you at any other job, and you were talking like that, they’d go, ‘Hey, you’re done,’” he added.

Rogan thought that was a Biden quote when it was actually trump who said that lolololololololol.

Awkward.

Even more awkward? Seconds after making his false Biden assertion, Rogan had complained about the “media gaslighting people.”

Interestingly, after learning it was Trump who made the mistake, Rogan didn’t seem to think it was such a big deal.

“So, he ****ed up,” he said with a laugh.

That media bias showing up again.

Roosevelt outpolled Taft in 1912, with 88 votes in the EC.
