I'm not saying anything about Hayward really. I dont know him well enough to say if he is a high charracter guy or a douche in the locker room.

Just that DA does care a lot about that. Whether thats to serve Hardy or if its his own vision/preference, dont know that either.

Maybe... maybe we just roll with Dunn and Sexton and see what happens. I like Kris. This is not what I would have expected a well known national nba geek to say. I think we can retain Kris and Tech at very team friendly numbers.

That statement may be a bit too much, but I thoroughly enjoy watching Dunn play defense and hope we keep him. I'm also perfectly happy with how he runs the offense. Sure there is plenty of room for improvement on that end, but that's part of the reason we got him cheap.
 
I think JC and KO are the parts we can "replace" and get future value for. It is hard to replace JC's scoring at volume but you can replace his contribution to winning with different pieces. KO i think is tougher to replace since he is such a unique guy but I think he's someone we can get by without if Tay Henny can give us something. At some point you have to swap good for great (even if it is okay now with hopes of being great later). KO isn't a guy that will be contributing in 2-3 years so if a good offer comes up then go ahead.

I think he's figured out the perfect balance of just starting the possessions off and when to look for his float/middy game that looks to be back on track. We need the guy who is looking to move the ball so the offense is low volume but I think underrated. He passes up at least one three per game I wish he'd shoot but at least he isn't just stopping the ball and side stepping... he's usually driving. His 3 point shot has actually been solid so he should be a bit more confident with it imo.

That seems right. I think he could easily put up a few more points, but there's probably no need for it at the moment. His go to move where he bullies his defender down low for a short floater isn't pretty, but very effective lately. And like you said he's hitting his 3s at a respectable rate (37%) and when I see him shoot I have more confidence of it going in than with some of our other players. I don't know if I read it here or heard it somewhere else, but it was also suggested that perhaps he's focusing on what he does well to establish himself in the league again, instead of trying to showcase more and thereby also exposing his shortcomings again. Whatever it is, it's working for the team now.
 
And the allure of having 20-35M of cap space if we move one of KO or JC on top of being able to keep Tech, Dunn, and renegotiate Lauri is a primary factor in any trade with those two. So it isn't just the return I am concerned with.

I noticed you put up a tweet about Scoot that absolutely blew up like a week ago.

Hope you didnt get flamed too much. I think it was a fair thing to say, to have Lauri rather than him.
