So you're openly admitting there is no possible way for Trump to have a fair trial. That is unconstitutional yet you still love it. Crave it. Call others dictators and nationalist. If you really cared you would've asked for this to be somewhere neutral, not have a judge who openly donates and has advocated for Biden like we have here. You really care Red... Lol not.

The Sixth Amendment guarantees the rights of criminal defendants, including the right to a public trial without unnecessary delay, the right to a lawyer, the right to an impartial jury, and the right to know who your accusers are and the nature of the charges and evidence against you.

Speaking only for myself, I certainly have not forgotten at all. But, right now I’m hoping he can get aid for Ukraine passed. As for his Christian nationalist extremists views? I have not forgotten, and could not imagine ever voting for him. But, if he wants to get an aid package for Ukraine passed, well, thank you Mr. Johnson. He has not himself embraced Moscow Marge’s rhetoric on Ukraine. I’m more than OK if he wants to do this.

Charles Moran, president of the Long Cabin group, said he believes Trump can significantly increase LGBT voters this year. Moran cited Trump's appointment of Grenell, Trump's 2019 commitments to end the HIV epidemic, and a global push to end the criminalization of homosexuality.

"The mainstream media and even the gay media doesn't report on this now because there's this narrative that exists that Donald Trump is anti-gay," Moran said.

He added that Trump was the first president to support gay marriage before being sworn into office.

"Let's not forget to look at who Donald Trump is as an individual. This is a man who has a long history — philanthropically, businesswise, and politically — supporting LGBT inclusion," Moran said. A man set himself on fire outside the courtroom where former President Donald Trump is facing charges in a hush money case, witnesses and officials said.

The person set himself aflame after 1:30 p.m. Friday in the designated protest area outside of the trial outside the courthouse in lower Manhattan, according to witnesses. Video appeared to show the moments after the self-immolation, as the man laid on the ground burning, at times seemingly seizing.

There was already a heavy NYPD presence already outside the building due to the high-profile nature of the trial, and officers rushed to get what appeared to be a fire extinguisher to douse the flames. Their first attempt to put out the fire was unsuccessful, and video appeared to show the man trying to sit up.

The fire was put out minutes later after police brought a larger extinguisher, leaving a smoky scene outside court as a gaggle of reporters and witnesses looked on.

Three law enforcement sources said the man who set himself on fire appears to have been a follower of some conspiracy theories and may have had emotional issues.

It’s better to have it than not but this is frustrating. What was all the delay for? We could’ve given Ukraine this aid 6 months ago. It certainly didn’t help the GOP politically. It’s just really frustrating how our country is held hostage by a few losers in the House who are addicted to outrage porn on Fox News. If Fox News didn’t exist, this aid would’ve been approved long ago.

How much of politics is based on Fox News merely opposing what their perceived cultural and political enemies support?

Ukraine, vaccines, mail in voting, public education, all come to mind…

I agree that it is extraordinarily frustrating. Many of the very recent missile attacks that specifically targeted civilians, including a number of "double tap" missile attacks that are done specifically to kill first responders, could have been prevented if this aid had been delivered 6 months ago. That part is just horrible. What is even more frustrating, not because of the soldiers lives because in war it should be the soldiers who die, but because we delayed aid many Ukrainian soldiers died who absolutely did not need to. Russia has many many times the number of soldiers. Each Ukrainian soldier is worth 10 Russian soldiers or more, and I don't mean that in the positive, I mean that the cost to Ukraine to lose 1 soldier is more detrimental to their fight than it is to Russia if 10 or even 20 Russian soldiers die. Those soldier will not be there in future battles. Those soldiers will not benefit from this needlessly delayed aid.

Our money will not go as far now as it would have gone 6 months ago. Ukraine is on their back foot. This aid will help them hopefully dig back what they have been bleeding away for the last 6 months. We're all NBA fans, right? This is like if in the middle of the second quarter the refs just make up fouls and give your star player foul 3 and 4 before you even have time to get them out of the game. This delayed aid is like a make-up call that gives a bench guy his second foul.

No he didn't lol. Show me where he flipped please. You're literally lying. It's well documented that Trump is on the side of Johnson and they both agreed that loaning the money, was the correct path. You guys about literally everything.

The president would be authorized to set the terms of the loan to Ukraine and also be given the power to cancel it. Congress could override the cancellation but would have to generate enough votes to override a veto, a high bar considering how the two chambers are so evenly divided.

Johnson, as he seeks GOP support for the package, noted that former President Donald Trump has endorsed a “loan concept.”
