2024 NBA Offseason

So with Kris Dunn... seems Suns want him BAD. So we should sign him to the same contract number Little has since they can offer him the minimum. Then trade him to Phoenix in December. A circumvention special.

We can do a sign and trade this summer, but the only pick they can trade is 2031 second. Can't trade 7 years out as a second apron team.

Assuming flat contract (TOR could make it descending), Quickley would only take up 17% of the cap in his final year. Bargain.

They can’t accept a player in a sign and trade… aprons… and yada yada.

They can receive the player, they can't send out a S&T player.
Nope. Teams over the first apron can't receive a player in a S&T unless it drops them under the first apron... it would also hard cap them. They are VERY restricted in trades.

This article didn't have it listed, but Bobby Marks said it is not allowed so you might be right.

The qUEntIN GriMEs apparently was dealt to mavs for multiple second round picks and garbage contract of THJ. Remember a couple of years ago the guy was deemed untouchable by the Knicks in the potential deal for mitchell. Good times

This probably isn’t the thread but how do we offload both JCs? I know we’ve said just keep Collins but I’d rather those minutes go to Hendricks, Kessler and Filipowski. Just clear the deck. I wish there was a (salary) way to get Clarkson to LA in exchange for protection removal.
Gotta keep at least one of them to be at the wheel.
