That wouldn't have changed anything. It's not like this is the first time the league sees Collin Sexton. He's a known quantity and he's always been the same player.Yeah and again I think its part of the issue with how the Jazz have positioned Collin. He's a sixth man type... well we have a sixth man type at home... and the sixth man at home is Cole Anthony.
If they had started him all year... given him minutes... I think the view would be different.
This is why I roll my eyes when fans suggest that a team is "showcasing" a player to pump up his trade value. Every rotation guy in the NBA is well known. GM's make wrong decisions now and then but you can't fool them by giving a guy extra minutes.
The league sees Collin as a small sparkplug off the bench who plays with blinders on. Not exactly a player type that's coveted these days.
