Interesting trade idea from Locke

That's besides that Philly and Brand are and were an absolute match in hell. I know this is a cliche sentiment, but if there's a team that can get production out of the guy, it's the Jazz.

And Boozer's gone anyway.

I do it no problem. I also agree that you pick favors with the #2. As he is compared to Dwight H he can eventually be a center. Bigs are just to hard to come by to pass him up. Plus we can always trade Millsap as he still has good value and upgrade somewhere else. Like we will sign and trade Boozer anyway. We would be way over the L Tax and teams with cap space can sign him for nothing.

Don’t do it. There have been too many top 3 picks that never lived up to the hype. There is too much uncertainty in the draft to make a deal like this. The Jazz can get a good player with the 9 pick. And I would rather have AK than Brand.

Utah gets: The marginal difference between Greg Monroe (assumed #9 pick) and Evan Turner (assumed #2 pick)

Marginal?!

Dont talk about marginal!

You kiddin me?! marginal?!

Typical Jazz fan. Settle for an average bench player who works hard instead of taking a risk on a future superstar.

Typical armchair GM, spending/wasting somebody else’s money. Next year when AK is off the books they can look at free agents or use assets and cash to move up and get a center. I like favors but he is just as likely to become a good player as he is to become a superstar. And we already have a good PF with Millsap.

I'm guessing you've never taken an economics class before. It's pretty clear I wasn't saying marginal to mean minimal.

lol! Forgive me for not applying economic terms in a discussion of the differences of two NBA draft picks.

mar·gin·al / ˈmärjənl/ • adj. of secondary or minor importance; not central: it seems likely to make only a marginal difference a marginal criminal element.
