Who is the worst Jazz player of all time?

Back before negotiation periods opened I remembered a radio personality (can't remember who it was but I almost want to say Monson but could be wrong on that) were discussing with someone else bringing in John Amaechi but they both agreed it was unlikely since he would be out of our league (in hindsight they must have been making a WNBA reference). I thought it odd because I had no idea who he was. Then we signed him and everything I knew of him was unimpressive. Despite that, his "killer mid-range J" was all the rage and how he'd complement Malone (perhaps compliment?) despite grabbing 3 rebounds in 20 minutes. Absolutely terrible.

I've always disliked Bell's game, as well. His first stint drove me nuts because he'd always play outside the offense and go one-on-one but since he was one of Jerry's pet players he'd let it slide, opposed to everyone else that would get their *** benched for a month with those actions. His second stint has been much worse.

I think he would win the award for longest streak of sucking and staying on the roster. A lot of the guys being named were only on the team for 1-2 years and were either traded away, cut, or not re-signed. Collins was able to suck for a long time because he was just on the border of sucking *** and being a guy who wouldn't mess up and would occasionally take a nice charge.

I have a hard time putting a guy with his shooting % this past year on the worst all time list.

I agree...Collins might be the worst player in NBA history to last more than 8+ seasons in the NBA.

Completely untrue. Keefe was not in Utah's playoff rotation in '97 for the Jazz's first trip to the Finals. He became a starter the following season only after a struggling Bryon Russell asked out of the starting lineup at the beginning of the season. Due to matchups Sloan inserted Russell back into the starting lineup for Utah's 4-game sweep of the Lakers in the Conference Finals and the only action Keefe saw in the Finals was off-the-bench at center (in place of Utah's bumbling duo who Scottie Pippen refused to guard) and not SF.

He averaged 10.3 mpg in 97 playoffs. Which was 10.3 minutes too many.

I hope you realize that "average minutues" refer to "average minutes in the games you play."
If you had time to look that up you should also have seen that the Jazz played a total of 20 playoff games in '97, and Keefe played in precisely 8 of them. The overwhelming bulk of those mintues were garbge time: 10 minutes in a 20 point win over the Clippers
16 minutes in a 20-point Laker rout, 17 minutes in a wire-to-wire Bulls' rout, and 10 minutes vs Chicago in a 11-point Jazz victory in which the Jazz were without Shandon Anderson.

Minutes played in competitive games: 2 minutes in a 6-point win over the Clippers, 1 minute in Game 4 vs Houston, 2 minutes in Game 4 vs Chicago (again no Shandon Anderson) and 1 minute in Game 5 vs Chicago. Oh and fyi, those 1-minute stretches weren't the final minute of the 4th-qtr.

If you don't like Adam Keefe as a basketball player, fine - I wasn't too crazy about him either, but don't re-write history and start blaming him for no title, losing in the Finals, 9/11, and every other problem we face.

handlogten..... and i agree about collins being the one to suck bad for the longest amount of time.
