If Kings decide to trade Jimmer potential suitors are Jazz, Suns

CJ Miles for Jimmer everyday of the week. With that said, that's not ****ing saying much. Jimmer needs to teach himself how to Jimmer again.

Split the difference and do: Raja, Rights to Shan Foster, and a future 2nd Rounder. Sac will waive Raja. Shan is not making Utah's roster anyways. So it is basically a 2nd rounder for Fredette. Although, I can't imagine Utah not including Watson or Tinsley.

I'm picturing a Tebow situation all over again. Really is the potential distraction worth even the though of bringing this guy in?

If they can trade a 2nd round pick for him. Or Bell or Watson. Then maybe. Any more than that and I'd have to hope they pass.

One difference between Raja and Jimmer is that Jimmer likely won't cry to the media about playing time like the former did. If Corbin doesn't play him for games on end, he probably won't bitch. That said, the last thing a young, impressionable team like ours needs is a media distraction, a Tebow-circus if you will. So I just don't think it's wise to bring him in so far as chemistry goes. So far as x's and o's goes, I think it makes perhaps even less sense. I do not want him getting any time ahead of Hayward, Burks or even Murphy for that matter at the 2. That leaves him with the sole possibility of getting some playing time at the 1...behind our current three point guards as well as Burks who too is getting some minutes there according to Corbin. So why then? Why bring him in? Perhaps for insurance purposes, perhaps to become our 3rd, or maybe even backup point, next year, as all three guys expire? I could see that I guess. But the media distraction that will ensue is simply not worth the risk to me. I'd rather see what Foster has to offer quite frankly at the 2/3 as he's shot the ball very, very well on the professional circuit. Something Jimmer didn't even remotely do his first go 'round.

You, myself, and other have been saying this and we seem to be ignored every time. I would be 100% behind bringing Jimmer to Utah if it meant winning basketball games. But we don't have room for for a one-dimensional, shoot-first point guard - who hasn't even proven he can shoot in the NBA - in our rotation.

Any move to bring him here would be a business move, not a basketball move. I don't want the BYU version of Tebow Mania distracting this team. Management would force Corbin to put him on the court because people would be buying tickets just to see him jack up two dozen thirty-foot jumpers a game.

No thanks.

Jimmer is a good fit for this team. He is a good shooter. He can play point but we have ball handlers at the 2 that could run the offense and bring the ball up. He will sell seats and generate revenue which the owners love.

The only downside is if fans are stupid and demand him to start when starter struggles. They could create drama like Tebow factor that crushes teams when he is not starting.

That being said I would like him here(assuming we dont give up anything more than second round pick, or a useless player) simply for the drama and the arguments on this board. Plus some people here have threaten to stop being fans if we pick him up which would be great.

A "delightsome" and homeless amputee veteran version of Gilbert Arenas, with the potential for even worse Tebow-team-wrecking mania? Where can I sign up?

Flat out raja and a 2nd. I wasn't part of jimmermania. I think he's a backup at best. But why not risk it. Could be an asset. Won't take much to beat raja or Cj. Just make a shot and he's the clear winner.

Yeah, take my quote out of context. ***.

Let me explain since you felt that neg rep and an "***" in my direction was necessary.

I quoted you within same thread in which you threaten to stop being a fan if one, that's right, one player is traded for.

There............in context. Happy? I doubt it.

You're a classic overreaction that is only playing to my point that if Jimmer is brought in, it's going to be hilarious to watch. Let me say it again.......par for the Furkan course.

Next, I'll be waiting for Jimmer fans who don't give a crap about the Jazz to suddenly start popping up on these boards waiving the J Note banner, and I'll call them out too......cause I'm all about equality.

Now is the perfect time to buy Jimmer. His stock will never be lower. Sacramento screws up everything they touch. Again, imagine what would have happened if Hayward had been on the kings last year as his rookie year. He would have been a bust and flushed down the toilet. Hell, that almost happened here, just like many of you are doing to Kanter. Always buy low and sell high and your assets will increase.

Additionally, I never get the Tebow hate. All that guy did was take a team that no one cared about and made them a national sensation. More people will remember the Broncos from last year then who won the Super Bowl. The Broncos wisely sold high and replaced Tebow with Manning. Do you think Manning even thinks for a second about Denver without the "magical" season?

I suspect the people who hate Tebow largely correlate to the people who hate Jimmer, and are tooth-missin', paint sniffin', inarticulate morons from West Valley City, who thinks that their backwards U of U cap from Walmart and their bling they bought from their senior trip to Tiajuana, which is slowly turning their chest green, make them gangster.

Doesn't matter anyway, Jimmers going to Boston.

Well that's ****ing stupid. Timmer can suck a dick off a cliff, but I'm not about to say that anyone that feels differently is some clueless, dogma huffing, sheltered, dip **** honky from Provo.

It's not about the player, it's about the motivation behind bringing him in. It'll be proof positive that this organization's first priority isn't winning.

It's not about knee jerk or overreaction. I said literally the exact same thing a year ago before the draft. I don't want to support an organization that puts selling jerseys over winning games. It's not about not being a fan, it's about not giving them my money. In fact, I probably wouldn't find another team to root for as I said previously. I'd probably just avoid the NBA altogether.

If you think turning the team into a circus show is "hilarious", great. Enjoy your circus. Personally, I don't think there's anything funny about it.
