What's new

Are you ready?

I've been out of town working for a while. Driving in tonight, I listened to the election news.

Well, I'm not very optimistic about this country generally, but this election might, in at least my version of history, have kept us out of war for a while. . . . there will be no war on Iran, and no Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear facilities. Even the Brits are now saying nuclear research and development is a sovereign right, and the problem of nuclear war will have to be taken to the UN. . . . .

The Republican Party may not survive this attempt to reclaim the middle, mainstream style. The Democratic Party may not survive either, once folks realize what a tool Obama really is, and how he has downsized them out of relevance in our own affairs.

The disinformation that was run at the last day or two, in regard to Mitt's statement about Chapter 11 reorganization, is being touted as key. But I think the groundwork and get-out-the-vote organization Obama is famous for is the real story.

And what it really means is that the Chicago mob has outmanueved the Bush Dynasty. . . . not entirely a bad thing, but certainly no hope for honest Americans who want to make their own way in the world on principles of work ethics and family values. All it really means is a whole new level of corruption in America, much deeper and much muckier. . . . and something a lot of people will eventually decide they don't want.

It really is hard to choose between a giant douche and a turd sandwich.

Lol. This goes deeper than Romney and Obama. Pock your issue. Taxes, welfare, immigration, education, foreign policy and I think you will find a deeply divided country.

And maybe as the country divides more and more, somebody will actually get off their *** and do something about it.

Good win for Obama, I'm very happy. Mitt Romney's a good man, he's just not going to be president.

graciousness is a good quality to cultivate.

Mitt's speech was pretty good. . . . listening to Obama's now. . . . . but it doesn't change anything. . . . "hope is the stubborn thing inside us that keeps us working for change" not really an exact quote. . . . but like all the neat little sayings you get with Chinese restaurant meals blithely called "fortunes", platitudes won't bake a cake, and political rhetoric is about as far from reality as the human imagination can get. . . .

we have problems we can't solve. . . . we don't even know how to define them. . . . we are so far removed from our reality by our socialized propaganda, which apparently is just fine with a most of us. . . . but we aren't ready yet to deal with them. . . . or think about them. . . .

Obama is Lord of the Flies.

But graciousness is a good quality to cultivate. . . . and I guess people have always lived in their own imagination brewed in their fondest delusions, since the world was. . . .or people were. . . . and I'm probably not really a whole lot different in that. . . . just cultivating a different brew than most. . . . . and I'll probably do alright. . . . anyway.

We've got to compromise, and meet in the middle. Are both sides ready to do that?

We've also got to stop with the petty attacks, and learn to truly debate. Like I've said sadly I believe it'll take a massive 3rd world war to bring us together as a nation again.
