Following potential 2013 draftees

Ok, obviously it would be better to win the lottery because a 1-3 pick is an asset. - but I'm not all that impressed with 1-3 in this draft (I'm not comfortable taking Noel, maybe Mclemore - but I'd prefer Burke). So yeah, I'd wanna trade back for a lesser pick and net something in return. But I don't know what other GMs would give for a 1-3 pick this year. The other GMs see there are no home run talents in this draft, right? Not even in the top 3. Jazz get about as good a shot picking a decent player later in the draft anyway. 14 for the win.

This draft has a whole lotta maybes. I'll take a chance on whoever falls: Schroe, CJ, Adams, Gobert, Shabazz, Len, Zeller...

Yep, I think that sums up our '13 draft pretty well.

Givony at DX basically saying the same thing. That fans of teams at the top will be disappointed that there are no franchise changing players in the draft. That teams outside the top 5-7 picks have a chance to get a good role player. https://www.draftexpress.com/article/DX-Podcast-Jonathan-Givony-on-CBS-Sports-Radio-4194

Wouldn't getting Otto be a big thing for this team?

Otto Porter would be fantastic. I bet if we won the first pick, we could get Porter and another asset through trading down. We could start a lineup of Burks, Hayward, Porter, Favors and Kanter next year. That would be pretty epic. Hopefully we will be able to get a decent point guard at some point to go along with it, but I think that lineup has so much potential.
