Jazz VS lakers Tomorrow on NBA TV

I was going to say something like "Hayward is finally having the kind of game I was hoping he would have", but it is more like "Hayward is finally having the kind of game I knew he would have soon."

Hayward leading a very nice fast break. Not a particularly effective pass to CJ, but Price was waiting in Steve Blake's spot on the baseline. We've never really seen Brewer or CJ or AK or any other Jazz wing be able to commandeer a fast break like that. Awesome to see.

Fesenko not doing much, but neither is the opposition. But the opposition is Theo Ratliff. Odom hasn't done anything in early 4Q minutes, though.

Wow. Ronnie Price really having a positvive game. Finding players--the latest of whom is CJ Miles after RP rebounded a Shannon Brown's block on Gordon Hayward.

WOWWWWWW. Next play down, Hayward e takes it in again. The guy doesn't give up. He's Harpring with a layup lol.

Utah up again 86-78.

Fesenko with another easy over-the back call on Gasol. Utah in the penalty for the last 6 minutes and change.

Fes has got to eliminate the dumb fouls.

Even with 5 fouls (including at least a couple of stupid/avoidable ones), Fes keeps taking it to the hole. This is crucial experience.

Swishes the first; misses the second wide.

Three steps forward; two steps back.

Odom is a nightmare matchup for Paul. We need to run pick and rolls to free him up. Posting him up and isos won't work with Odom.

Hayward looks really comfortable out there. Through my fuzzy computer screen, he seems to have good body language. With 21 points, he leads all players but Gasol. (It did take him 10 more minutes than Kobe to score that many points, but it's a process ;)) When was the last time a Jazz draft pick scored 20 points in a rookie preseason game?

If Hayward can even distract Kobe Bryant defensively for 5 or 10 minutes a game, then Utah has a nice top 10 pick on their hands.
