Your favourite Jerry Sloan quotes

I know wrong thread but I noticed a funny comment from Memo in Turkish press yesterday and wanted to share:

About the injury: I am sorry about the possibility that I might not have a 360 dunk over three defenders any more.

"That's better then, "Jerry go **** yourself."

Back in the '94 playoffs vs. San Antonio, Dennis Rodman thought he'd talk some **** to Sloan so he asked Jerry, "What do you do for a living?"

Sloan replied "I'm a farmer."

Rodman laughed and then went out and hit Tom Chambers and kneed John Stockton.

Haha

@tribjazz: Sloan on rookies working hard: "Hope they realize they can feed their family a lot easier playing this than playing bingo."

When asked about how Deshawn Stevenson reacted to Ricky Davis' triple double attempt:

"If I was Deshawn I'd have knocked him on his ***"

Picking a nit, here, but that's not the quote. It makes it sound like Sloan thought Stevenson should have done something, and that's not the case.

"Let him try to get it when the game means something. I was proud of DeShawn and I would have knocked him down harder. They can put me in jail for saying that, but that's the way it is," Jazz coach Jerry Sloan said.

....don't know if Sloan could ever top Scotty Stiles, who use to coach the Bull's. But he once said about that waste of space Curry: "We called a timeout to set up a play for Curry......but I guess the 10,000 times we went over it in practice wasn't enough!"

This quote aint by Sloan, but it's about him:

"...it's not because I was gay, that he didn't like me...he's the best coach I've ever played for in terms of his technical ability. And without a doubt, he's the worst the person I've ever met in my entire life..." (John Amaechi)

There ya have it then, eh? Worst person Amaeci ever met. I would post Sloan's critique of Meech, but it aint printable.
