What's new

For those Jazz fans that LURK here but don't post

Goooooooood afternoon! I'm one of the lurkers that visit the site almost every day, but never post. I will be a Jazz fan throughout time and eternity :)

I'm making a list.........

I've got free accommodations in New Zealand, Estonia, Brazil, Peru, Australia, Turkey, Norway covered now. Anybody from Monaco? Speak up.

You just described me. I have been to Peru several times. The chinchillas are divine.

Glad to hear that and I hope you had a great time here. I am also an avid traveller, I´ve been everywhere (life would be boring otherwise hehe). Food is amazing here, especially seafood

Do I count as lurker?

Got into the NBA because I've started playing 2k10 in a German online league and the Jazz were one of the teams I could pick. I chose them because of the active fan base and the team's reputation of being hard workers. I had never been into basketball that much but I got hooked pretty fast. The best thing about American sports in comparison to soccer for example is the management side: draft, trades, cap space...

Last season I only watched a single game. I couldn't stand Corbin and the stale dead end rotation (just looked up box scores and watched highlights on nba.com). For next year I expect great things, so I plan on getting LP again. Burke was a big disappointment in SL, especially if it was the first time you could watch him play (highlights don't count).

My favourite poster is probably spycam. I also like posters that go against the grain sometimes.

My least favourite posters are the ones that post much but say little. Alts are cancer.

I have probably had literally 10 different user names over the years, but I rarely post because most of the conversations that happen here are awful. It's worth checking in and wading through the crap sometimes, but most of the time I lurk and hope for something worthwhile.

This boards biggest problem is it has always had a rotating cast of high volume posters with nothing valuable to say. And I'm not picking on anybody specifically, because it's never the same crowd that is guilty of it. Every year or so a new batch takes over drives the content to the point of virtual un-readability. And whomever invented the repping thing should be taken out behind the shed and shot. When conversations are continually hijacked by pointless "reps" posts, it's enough to make a man . . well . . go to another website I guess.

Anyway, this has been strangely cathartic!

Go Jazz!
