I don't see how Kanter can succeed as a Jazz

He is pretty much put in a position to fail right now. Might as well trade him right now, they just going to give him spot minutes here and there. He is so anxious to contribute, and that often leads him to rush or have a turnover. His confidence and rhythm is shot. Imagine you went from a future starting big of the team to now he can't get get 15 minutes as a sixth man on the worst team in the league. And the moment he makes a mistake he got yanked. They are putting him a position to fail, might as well give him up for someone else.

Disagreed. He's so young and inexperienced. He is clueless defensively in terms of playing within a team concept. This was all expected when we took him IMO. Never really played at a high level until he got to NBA as a 19 year old. Impossible to succeed being that raw. He's shown too great of flashes to cut him loose before we can see what he's capable of with a few years in the league under his belt.

Well lets see. His stat line right now is 0 points 0-1 with 2 TO's and a Foul in 6 minutes. And while he was on the floor we lost a 14 point lead. I would pull him also plus every one he is playing with.

He is just coming back from an injury. I don't see his current minutes or roll being the norm for the rest of the season. So I would say no. Hang on to him and let him get his game back

My main issue with his defense is that he looks like he has no idea what he's doing when he comes out to defend the pick and roll, but that looks like it is actually part of the jazz's team concept so i don't think it's an issue

Hayward struggled 5-6 games in a row but he still got the same minutes!

Kanter struggled 2-3 games and he has been moved to bench directly!

I think benching him has destroyed his confidence. He doesn't look like the same player he was at the beginning of the year.

Hayward played like complete garbage for multiple games and he was able to play it through. How can you learn without being on the floor? isn't that what this season is about anyways? that we will lose tons of game so that our core can learn and grow.

Do yall see kanter in practice? Got to be a reason wh yhe don't get much tick. I know the truth is because he isn't good an the sooner you realize this the sooner you can move on. The first step to recovery is to admit you have a problem. So just admit that he isn't very good and was a wasted pick

I saw Kanter guarding a point gurad at least twice today and a pick wasn't even set.
I get that we don't like Corbin and all for playing Marvin, but Kanter just can't make these stupid mistakes.
Alec has learned well, now it's time for Enes.

1 of them was against Brooks and it was either guard him or leave him open. Not his fault. I don't remember the other one though.

I also call BS. This was his year to shine he was given the starting job and he hasn't played well enough to keep it. In previous years he played very well off the bench getting 15min a night so I don't think limited minutes have anything to do with it. As bad as Hayward was playing Kanter has been worse in the last few games because of his consistent mistakes, physical and mental. Hayward was missing shots but still helping even though I think he was letting his shooting slump affect other parts of his game he was still doing just enough as well as there wasn't really anybody playing well enough to take his minutes unlike Marvin and Evans playing well enough to earn more minutes.

I think there is a fine line in just giving minutes in a rebuilding year and still making the players earn it and it can send the wrong message and I think that is the balance and message being sent to Kanter.

Kanter started the year ballin.. looked confident etc.. something isn't right and his confidence is shot. he isn't being utilized at all so how the hell is he suppose to improve especially being passed up marvin n rj.. gtfoh

One of them was that one, in the other one Jefferson ended up having to guard Asik and Jefferson had to foul Asik. That play made Jefferson chew Kanter out a bit and he kinda just left the game mentally after that.

It looks to me like corbin wants him out there which is a mistake. let him play d down low and keep his eye on the big man. Houston doesn't shoot midrange shots anyway. pointless to have him come out to help.

He looks too much in his head. Harpring made the perfect definition for him during the Rockets game. "He acts like he has to score whenever he touches the ball. He has to let the game come to him."

Kanter is coming off shoulder surgery and a sprained ankle and doesn't seem like he is in as good as shape as last year. I hate to say this, but the Jazz look soooo much better with Marvin playing the stretch 4 than Kanter and Favors jamming the middle.

The problem is that Favors and Kanter are both 4's. Kanter is not 6'11", he is 6'9" and struggles against long 4's and really struggles against centers. The Jazz have been patient with Kanter, but how much rope are they going to give him?
