Ignore Function

Is it possible to improve this function of the forum? With its current form, ignoring a poster doesn't do much, when I add a poster to my ignoring list, I still see his stupid name and posting space in a way that is much more annoying than actually seeing his posts, and I still see his posts through other posters' quotes.

I know some people may think/say "oh have some thick skin man" or "you came to the wrong place bro this is internets" blah blah but there are truly annoying and sheer idiot posters on the board and sometimes I can't stand to see even their names in a thread.

It would be perfect for instance, if it just "ignored" a poster when I add him on my ignore list.

You cannot escapre from me. Wherever you go, I will always be there to make this experience more miserable for you.
 
I agree with Enes (that sounds weird). It would be better if it just eliminated the posts of ignored peoples altogether. Eliminating quotes would probably be take a little more effort and such, but I don't know how time-consuming any of this is. And although it would be better this way, I don't really have a problem with it now. It works well enough.

I think #TheReturn is what prompted Enes' question.

Among other people, I'm sure.

I too wish it worked better and more cleanly. I'll see if the forum's software maker has any feedback or updates on it.

Man, you know I like you(very much) too but I don't think our relationship has a future. First of all, you're a married man and I'm just an innocent young boy. Secondly, oh I think the first one is enough...

By the way what PKM and dala had was special. I don't believe we can ever be like them.

I don't get people using the ignore function. Where's your tolerance?!? All you need to do is just skip the post, comment, whatever. It's not that hard.


It's like can you go out in real life and "ignore" certain people walking on the street? Well, may be you can, 150 years ago before slavery was abolished.

Why doesnt Trout stop with the personal attacks?


Probably because its encouraged by the moderators and ownership. And they just look away as he does it.

Then people like HH, who has launched no personal attacks, just defends himself, and is just annoying in some people's views., gets banned..


JazzFanz rules dont apply to the good ol boy club. The rules dont mean what they say either. Personal attacks are welcomed, while being dumb and annoying are not.It really just comes down to, are you in the club or not.

That's laughable. Trout is the only person on this board who has been banned more times than HH. You're a joke.

Your argument would make more sense if Trout had never been infracted, suspended, or banned. Oh, whoops! He's been all three.

Ya well, word is thats more like the get yourself banned button for backseat moderating.

Plus, Im not 3 years old. Im not gonna taddle tell on him. Its wide out in the open for everyone to see. You need to look no further than his last post. Its right in this thread in fact.
