What was the worst thing the jazz did in 2010?
This one sided topic sucks. Not keeping Boozer is the answer.
The Jazz didn't match because they were going after Jefferson. They are intertwined.Miraculously KOC was able to recover from Boozer fiasco by getting AJ. Granted AJ is not producing the same as Booz, but he is not too far off, can get better (even Booz's first year was not that great in Utah) and he can play C, unlike Booz, thus allowing Millsap to start and play alongside him effectively. So, while Booz may be a better PF than AJ, because AJ can playe C, with Millsap on the team, team may actually be better off. Again, we needed a miracle to get AJ, but since we did get him eventually, and we could not have gotten him with Booz on the roster, I just don't think loss of Boozer hurt us. Loss of Wes sure did though. It is painful to watch the guy light it up in Portland, when we could have had him do the same here and Bell can't even replace what he did as a rookie. KOC surely screwed this one up badly.
I just can't express in word how disappointed I was that KOC didn't reach a deal with Mathews.. beyond expression!!
Also can anyone tell me why we couldn't sign an extension with him last season when he was playing red-hot???????
Wasting the Knick pick. But who knows how it will turn out.

Please clarify how it's a waist when he hasn't even played half a season yet?
How's that?
Hayward's free throw percentage is better than Miles', his three point percentage blows his away, and his overall field goal percentage is just behind. Add in the fact that he's a better passer and rebounder, and that he seems like a late bloomer whose body will fill out nicely over the next couple years, and we could have a gem here. Two games have skewed his percentages sure but I think they're a better indicator of who he is then some random minutes here or there early in the season when his confidence was probably less than it is now. In short, his game is well rounded and it's obvious he tries hard.

Cause he really hasn't played, guy.
