Monroe didn't make, or miss all of his shots while he was guarded by Kanter. That's why saying he was 8/18 is being intellectually dishonest in regards to Kanters defense. By Hantlers
This is weird. First I never said Kanter guarded him the entire time. I don't know how that makes me intellectually dishonest. But whatever. You cannot deny that while Kanter was in he guarded one of the three Piston bigs all of which shot less than 50% tonight. That is pretty good defense or poor shooting.
As for the other question. I do prefer Kanter to Monroe, but that was not the question. The question was do you trade Kanter and Burke for Monroe. I would not trade Kanter for Monroe straight up because you cannot re-sign Monroe. You still have a chance to re-sign Kanter for less than the max. Kanter is a restricted free agent and Monroe will be a unrestricted free agent. And, why would anyone add Burke just for the heck of it?
