We only use it if it moves the needle. Most proposed deals I've seen don't move the needle (and many actually make us worse based on domino effects). We may pick up small salary, such as a Beverly, but I don't know that I see too many of those dangling out there.
If it isn't Kevin Love then I'd rather not do a deal. Ricky Rubio is a no go for me.
Pretty much the only deal I could see us willing to use cap for (Love).

A little off topic, but can I just say, amazing job by the Jazz on keeping everything a secret.
It is one day to FA, one day to "Disappearing 17-million", and a couple of days to the start of summer league...yet there is next to no rumours flying around about the jazz. The few rumours that the Jazz beat writers get are either meaningless or from sources outside the organization. Freaking Lindsey runs a tight ship, better than the chumps in washington and almost as quiet as his neighbors over on 50 East North Temple. The man is awesome, the suspense is killing me, but he is awesome.

Not a peep being said to me means they're probably exploring viable deals. When Jazz rumors start circulating they never come to fruition.

Yep, that is why you can immediately discount the Iggy to the Jazz rumors. If you hear a Jazz rumor it is 90% gonna be a smokescreen of some kind.

Haha, everyone always says this about the Jazz but i call BS. When do the Jazz make blockbuster trade? The Deron Williams trade is probably the only "big" deal that has happened in the past 20 years. The Jazz are always keep things quiet because not much is going on. Let's be honest.

Lessee, acquiring Diaw and Joe Jesus last year was pretty out of the blue, and newsworthy. Moving up in the draft this year was a pretty big move. Nobody knew anything about these moves until they were announced. Take your lemon and suck it elsewhere.
I think it's more like 14m but not positive. I keep seeing people posting to use that cap space before July 1st and also sign milos teodosic but you can't do both unless you give up more salary then you receive on the trade(which means your not using the cap space).Their is barely enough cap room to sign Milos in free agency and that is only if they sign him before Hayward, Hill, and Ingles. Basically it's either use the cap space before July 1st or use 10m in free agency to sign Teo. Can't be both.
