Will a Trade Happen?

I'm not sure if they are fighting for relevance. I feel like we already are relevant. But I do think that we are fighting for attention, respect, spotlight. Fighting to be a destination where players want to play, fighting to be a team everyone talks about, fighting to be place where players can get the accolades that they earn.

Good luck with that. Not even San Antonio could become a destination, even for a star already there.

I predicted the Rubio trade almost perfectly. So here is my shot:

Rubio, Favors and lottery protected first to Memphis

Sefolosha, Udoh and lottery protected first to New Orleans

Conley and Mirotic to Utah

We trade away 3 of or 4/5 rotation for a stretch 4 that notoriously plays poor defense?

Fans make trades like this, not even bad GM’s.

Who backs up Rudy? Our 4’s are a poor defender and an undersized 4 in Jae?

I’d so much rather overpay for Conley than get Love.

That contract gives Love a bad name.

Love hurts... well he’s always hurt

The power of Love’s game is not what it used to be.

Love will not keep us together.

It takes 30M + per year to buy us love.

We need to aim for a higher Love.
We get both Conley and Love and go all-in on the next two years, and the Millers begin negotiating selling the team to a Seattle firm after the 2020-2021 season.

The jazz want to be better. Getting Conley and love doesn't make them better. Do u really want a starting 6'1 6'2 backcourt. That will get destroyed

Sure getting Conley u will continue to beat bad teams. But do want to pay someone that much money to continue to beat bad teams but keep losing to good teams. Getting Conley u don't beat teams like Houston ect

The person jazz need is a 6'6-6'7 player with extraordinary speed. That can get to the basket at will. Who has great success against defending players like harden. Does anyone know a player like this

Yes, but unfortunately he has a history of injury. Otherwise he's in there last night. I want him to be good as much as anyone. (With the exception of maybe you, I want to remain in the realm of reality.) Just not sure he can stay on the floor.

Once you make some moves there is no rule saying you can't make more moves.

Yeah, totes man. We gave away 4 expirings and 2 firsts in that deal.

Just pass “Go” a few more times and you keep collecting assets right?

How do so few GM’s get it right when so many average Joes are killers at it?

I agree with you the injuries have set him back big time

Did I not say healthy? I'm 100 certain I did. Lol like I'd be betting on Lakers team without Lebron.
I'll bet you money that the jazz dint end up lower than the 7th seed, then you don't have to hedge your bet. It takes lebron out if the equation entirely.

And who can actually shoot! Nope, no one. Wait, Paul George?

When it all comes down to it I just don't think this team is as good as it needs to be. Maybe me saying we won't be making the playoffs was a bit of an overstatement but at the same time I won't be surprised if we do miss out. You can never count out Lebron and the teams ahead of us have been tried and tested for a lot longer than us.

Rubio is not a great player. He's most definitely a good player but he's inconsistent. If he could continually make an impact we'd be fine but as we've seen he has many nights like last night. He continually makes terrible decisions/mistakes and him being guarded 5 feet off by guys like Trae Young makes him an absolute liability. His 13 pts, 6 assist is plainly average. Love the dude but we need someone else.

Crowder is a great defender but he provides little to nothing outside of three point shooting on offense. When he's on its big for us, when he's off he's equally as bad. Ingles is one of my all time favorites but he can't be relied upon to score consistently. It's not who he is. He needs help. Favors is great as well but how many team would start him in today's NBA? He would flourish coming off the bench. Exum I want to like but he's never healthy

Easy schedule or not I just think this team has a lot of flaws. This didn't just start last night, it's been prevalent all season. Are we a good team? Yeah. Are we top 8 in the West? I truthfully don't know. Hate in me all you want for that but it's my honest opinion. Something needs to change and I'm not overly confident we have the resources or gumption to do it.

Its a common mistake. Don't feel bad about it, but you are using irony incorrectly. Coincidence isn't irony.
The irony was people saying we need to trade then getting on someone for saying this team is not good enough.

As I said I know what irony is you just unsurprisingly failed to detect it. However you got a coincidence out of that beats me. Playing stupid per usual.

No but I'm saying that if you get an amazing starting lineup and have to pick up some undesirables to fill out your depth then that ain't necessarily a bad thing. Having great depth and team is everything is nice and that's one way to win. Another is to get 5 really really good players (more top end talent) and maybe not be as deep.

Both can work and both can fail but I'm ready to try another method. Obviously there best thing would be to have a ton of top end talent and depth but that's rare and you might never get there
