Someone in the comments mentioned All-Star weekend. With Silver, that makes sense. In that case, maybe I'll delete this thread, because WTF cares. But it's better than hearing that the Jazz have been sold to a Seattle investment firm.

Given the city and state representatives, it seems it has to be about the 2023 All-star game coming to SLC.

The season will be suspended and the Utah Jazz will be awarded the NBA championship in advance. What's the point of keeping this charade, when you have Jingles & company. Championship parade scheduled for next week.

There's no way they are announcing a new arena as they've just done so many renovations
