Tell me right now, like I said in my opening response:

“I’m not for electric tanks at all, not until there is much more improvement in battery technology.”

with the technology we have right now would you rather have a diesel or electric tank? It’s a simple question, Thriller, why don’t you answer it?

Again I never said they would produce tanks that wouldn’t work. I’ll say it again for you Triller, I would take a diesel tank over an electric tank until the improve on the technology.

Next question for you Thriller, you think the military will just produce the most efficient and perfect electric tank from the start? Or do you think, it might not be the most efficient at first and then approve along the way? And when technology improves, do you think it would be a better product than a diesel verson? See that’s how I view it, it will become better when technology improves.

My primary criticism of those comments by Trump isn't that they are dumb, it's that Trump is so convinced of his own genius that he thinks that he may have just discovered a solution that no one else has thought of. It is the 1,000,000th confirmation that he is a clueless narcissist.

That said I agree that twisting the comment into "shove a flashlight up your ***" is not helpful. Let's criticize Trump on the actual merits and substance. There is more than enough there for most of us to make up our minds about him without the mischaracterizations.

What’s wrong with editing posts to make things clearer?

And why are you always so hostile towards me? It’s not helpful for debate purposes when you almost always lead off with personal attacks. It’s so off putting.

1. The military is and should develop new tech.
2. Electric tanks aren’t in war zones, a fact you have to yet recognize.
3. Trump is pushing the narrative that you seem to have no problem with that our woke military is placing America into unsafe situations by developing electric vehicles. Cuz they’re so woke and that’s why we need a strong man, like Trump.

It’s Father’s Day so I can’t spend the entire day disputing every talking pt people post.

Let’s also tone down the personal attacks. It’s really off putting. I’ll respond in kind but if you’re serious about having good faith debates, then the tone and actual personal attacks need to change.

Go read your own posts and how you treat anyone who doesn’t agree with you. Especially a Trump supporter. Then when someone pushes back on you, you’re now the victim and personal attacks are now off putting.

Trump supporters deserve no respect. Sorry

they shouldn’t by anyone who respects our constitution. They support a rapist felon who has tried already to overthrow our democracy. They support a massive threat to our democracy. He’s antithetical to our democracy and constitution. And on a personal level, I find him offensive to Christianity. The way he uses and abuses my religion is so upsetting.

Huh? What a weird hill to die on by a supposedly “not MAGA but just conservative” poster on here. Can someone summarize why this is a point of emphasis? I can’t keep track of all of the posts I’ve been tagged in or have demands now being made to answer weird covid questions about.

No I don’t think the military will build tanks that don’t work. I do think they would build electric tanks that are not as efficient or have the same abilities as a diesel one.

Is that clear enough for you Thriller?

We all saw the video. Trump suggested we shine light and inject people with disinfectant. It was an absurd and dangerous solution to Covid. Anything to downplay the virus in hopes of it helping his reelection campaign. I’ve (and I’m not the only one on here) said, “stick a flashlight up your ***” as a form of humor, not as a form of deception, as Trump uses. Whether Trump literally told people to shove flashlights down their mouths or up their asses or just use a light to kill off the virus in some sort of open chest irradiation doesn’t change the fact that his ranting are that of a deranged person. Nothing I’ve said significantly changes anything, unlike Trump, who makes stuff up and lies constantly to promote a certain anti-American narrative.

Wait, why is the focus on me?

Why aren’t we addressing how absurd it is that Trump is going on these rants in videos that I’ve posted about and reporting articles I’ve posted and the focus shines on me? I’m not running for the White House. And we shouldn’t let Trump supporters, like @Bucknutz successfully filibuster arguments against Trump’s election to turn the focus on other posters. Trump is the deranged rapist and felon who’s promoting white grievance narratives who’s running for the White House, not me.

If you could stop insulting me for one post, you might find greater depth than you think. You don’t get to where I am at professionally without honest debate, research, and depth with understanding of American history. That you attack me and not attack Trump’s own deranged ranting says a lot about your intellectual honesty and depth.

You still haven’t answered this WHY the military would develop ineffective tanks. I believe this is an important point because, unlike me, Trump is trying to promote a certain narrative to millions of Americans about our military.

Aside from all the ranting and raving going on in this thread, when did electric tanks become a hot-button topic that Donald Trump needed to fix in the first place? Did I miss a huge raging debate that Trump has finally weighed in on to help us correct this egregious error in letting our military, who is generally responsible for the greatest advancements in technology we've seen as a society, erroneously switch to the failure of electric power when every industry professional everywhere was telling them not to do it? So we needed Trump to rescue the military from such a terrible decision? Were they on the verge of completely replacing our entire fleet of tanks currently in operation until Trump got with MIT, who obviously has great respect for his intelligence, to show us yet again that the battery power is never going to be viable, first in maritime applications, and now in active war zones?
