Remaining two games of Clippers are against Portland and SacTown. I do not think that Grizzlies will try hard for that HCA in 1st round. A healthy and well-rested starting line-up is much more important for them, IMHO.
A loss against Fakers would mean facing OKC instead of Spurzz in 1st round...
Carlos "We had the best record again in basketball, won our division again, had the top seed again, that's all that matters, yo" Boozer...
I would be embarrassed to be compared with this douche. Felt sorry for Al.
I feel weird... I tend to agree with most of what Jon Barry have said so far for the Jazz.
I love TNT but come on this is ESPN and I like the commentating so far.
Heard one insider guy reporting for Ireland and Mason show of ESPN LA that PJ was ready to accept the job and Buss family and Kupchak were fast signing the deal with D'Antoni.
I used to mark W for Raptors and Pistons games -both home and road games- right after the schedule release when we had DWill-Memo-Booz etc :)
This is a must win game. A road trip w/ 2-2 record should be OK and this might be the first of those two wins.
I think, coach D'Antoni is the second best fit among candidates... I was listening some local sport radio shows on air in LA just after coach Brown had been fired. Faker fans think that LA should be scoring much more and there should be a "show" on the basketball court, which was definitely...
Hi, Jazz fans... It's been long time since I last posted in this great forum...
Back again, sad about Memo's retirement, I want to have some fun watching tonight's nationally televised game.
This young team should offensively dominate against poor Denver, esp. after gaining the much needed...
Something to consider: DLocke told during his regular tipoff prog. that the unit that got the team back into the game and took the lead was out of gas at 4-5 min. mark, which he says Corbin figured out after seeing them not running back to set the defense in transition which led him to call an...
Where did you get the impression that I said Paul played BAD defense. He got his hands full with Tyler, West and an always ready wing to bother him when he puts the ball on the floor. He did get 18 but he busted his tail off to get baskets. Teams are well aware of what he has done against...
- I'm not buying "the effort was there" thing tonight. Starters are starting to set the tone, and in this team's case, set an example for youngsters. Also, the game is 48 mins long; the Jazz are not talented enough to take quarters, mins off, or take an off night defensively and rely on offense...
While what you talk about was not directly related to what I meant in my previous post; I can tell you that:
- I'm not a "vets all the way" fan.
- You can make a case for Enes-Derrick combo to start the games with some stats but like one of famous fans in old Jazzfanz, better known as "+/-...
Too early to tell. You mentioned no trades etc. taken into account; so it all depends on how healthy our experienced bigs will be and whether Kanter and Favors will develop into players whose dominance over other frontcourts -along with BigAl and Paul- cannot be denied by national media.
It...
This is why I sometimes agree with a famous quote "If a coach starts listening to the fans, he winds up sitting next to them".
One should have a hard time proving that providing vast amount of PT for rookies, sophomores GUARANTEES a greater and faster development for them. "Rebuiling" is BS...
I noticed that Love tries to be the "tough guy" lately. The incident between him and Granger the other night, his comments about Pacers after they got a well-deserved L and now this. Somebody should tell him that talk is cheap as well as being a dirt***.
Scola is a great flopper but he is a...
