2011 NBA Draft revisited...

LOL at Valanciunas rank when he killed Kanter in head to head matchups this season, has better PER and overall is much more valuable player than Thompson, Vucevic, Farried or Parsons. Valanciunas is arguably best center from that group. Vucevic may have nice offensive stats playing for horrible team but he plays no defense whatsoever. Same with Kanter except he shoots and rebounds the worst from all of them.

I would do it this way:

1. Irwing
2. Kawhi Leonard
3. Valanciunas
4. Klay Thompson
5. Parsons
6. Nicola Vucevic.
7. Walker
8. Farried
9.T.Thompson
10. Kanter.

Rest does not matter.

Weren't you the same guy who would brag day and night about how amazing Jonas FT % was and that since he had better FT% than Kanter it meant he had more offensive potential than Kanter? Now that Jonas has had comparable FT% to Kanter you have used PER instead as part of your metric to determine Jonas is better than Kanter because he has a whopping <0.5 per point over Kanter. Kanter didn't reach up to his potential but neither did Jonas, there were people saying he was already Joakim Noah. I would still give the edge to Jonas right now but the way you make it seem is Kanter is Darko while Jonas is Sabonis.

Kanters poor defense, lack of basketball IQ on offense, and now his declining rebound numbers make my optimism for Kanter decrease by the year unfortunately.

Valanciunas is easily better than Kanter.

I can't decide that easily. Even though it has been said too many times and 3 seasons have passed, it's still early to tell which has the upside in long term. I still wanna see Enes play under another coach who will allow him to do everything and Enes won't look back at the bench to his coach (Ty) after every ****ing mistake he does on the floor. At the end of the season he grew a pair and **** all over Ty management. This alone is promising Enes is growing in head. Maybe this will affect his BBIQ no?

Its not just the player, its where they go. Would Leonard be that high on that list if he were not on the Spurs?

Kanter is a double-double machine, especially when he's not tanking. He's easily more valuable than Brandon Knight.

Kanter and burks are the only two players from that draft that were "corbined"

Have to take that into consideration

I think people are overlooking Burks a bit. In the time he's been in the league, I feel he's been under utilized, and feel he can handle more responsibility. I actually feel his game is similar to Hayward's game, the one difference being athletic and physical skill sets. I wasn't always this into Burks, but he finally did get regular minutes, and I finally saw improvement in his game. I'd like to see him start this year, and given an opertunity to be the #1 option.

Dude, I said better shooting and rebounding as well. Means better FG% better FT% and better rebounds. All of that with lesser usage rate and involvement on offense. Look at all advanced stats you want - Jonas is better.

Valanciunas at 3 in this list? .

He was nr.2 on that list before finals. Spurs were offering Parker for JV before the draft, that's how high they valued him. Think about it this way - would Toronto trade Jonas for any of those players bellow him? No. They would not even trade him for Irwing or Leonard, he is franchise type center and will be All-star easily in 2 years. Heck he is already better than Hibbert at every aspect of the game except shot blocking and Hibbert was All star last year lol.
