2014 NBA Playoffs: 2nd Round

I only want to see them play as they're more "exciting" to watch than the likes of Spurs.

...yeah, who likes to see a team with 3 times more assists than turnovers and shoots over 50% every game! Much rather see dummies launch off balanced forced shots, make a couple of them....and lose by 20 points.

Umm... Sloan quit. Then KOC immediately traded Deron.

This.

Oh how the mighty posters have fallen..... oh wait, it was thriller that was way off? Par for the course.

General knowledge

Spurs can't beat the Thunder

The Thunder are the West's worst matchup for the Spurs, no doubt. Normally the Spurs can roll through teams while one or two of their role players fall off the wagon, but they definitely need everybody to be clicking to beat the Thunder... OKC just so much more athletic.

But, I think they'll be playing the Clipps this year.

Seriously *** wipe? You wanna go there?

Pretty sure it's common knowledge that the Jazz forced Jerry's hand, he didn't quit.

Throughout the previous year Jerry and Duron's relationship had been deteriorating. At the start of the season Duron came out just blasting Jerry to the media. He complained about the system, how they practiced, in game adjustments (or lack thereof), and film. I remember this clearly because despite having recently purchased a Duron jersey, I thought he was clearly out of line. You never come out publicly blasting a coach. Especially a HOF one unless the relationship had deteriorated last the point of no return.

It was obvious to me that the Jazz were faced with a keep Jerry or Duron decision. This was made even more obvious since LBJ had taken his talents to south beach and Melo made it pretty clear he was leaving Denver.

The Jazz that entire year looked out of sync. Duron wasn't into the rebuilding process. Remember when he chucked the ball at Hayward? The Chicago game just finished it off.

At halftime, Jerry wanted to suspend Duron. He was sick of his comments to the media, breaking off plays, and ultimately acting like the owner of the franchise.

KOC didn't want to do that.

Jerry finished it off by saying it's either him of me. KOC wanted a conversation after the game. To Jerry, that was the answer. He had enough discussion. Enough talking and pandering to the spoiled brat. He was done.

It was shortly thereafter that the Jazz realized that the chances of keeping Duron were minimal even with Jerry gone so they traded him for what they could.

Had KOC traded Duron before the Chicago game, Jerry would probably still be the coach today. Had KOC disciplined Duron and support Jerry in the way Jerry desired, he wouldn't have quit. The Jazz forced Jerry's hand. At the time, the Jazz chose Duron over Jerry. They've obviously had regrets over that and have shown this in giving him a job and with the whole trade and all...

Honestly, I thought this was common knowledge? So if you were merely trolling, congrats. If not, then consider yourself educated now.

....won't matter, Thunder or Clips. Spurs still have plenty of athletic ability on there roster.....and a boat load of brains that make up for any deficiency!

.....I was watching some Wizards vs. Pacers and it's UNWATCHABLE! I'm turning to the 3rd round of the NFL draft as we speak! Neither team has set a pick or run a play......and there into the 2nd quarter. Shooting percentages are down in the low 30's.
