Grizzlies guard Tony Allen has been diagnosed with a strain of the medial gastrocnemius muscle (calf) in his right leg. Allen is out indefinitely and will be continually re-evaluated while beginning rehab immediately.
I just hope that the Jazz show up to play and that we are not shown up by the Clippers.
Woohoo! Playoffs!
So my wife and I are young recent grads who couldn't afford cable this year. I've been getting by by attending a few games and watching the 9-min highlight vids of most every game. But that obviously won't do for the playoffs. If I can't find a friend to catch the game with, what are your suggestions for watching the game in SLC? Are there any sports bars or restaurants where it won't feel weird staying for the whole game? I apologize for my noobishness. I've always been able to catch games on TV, either at my parents or at my own apartment, so this is new territory for me.
Thanks in advance and go Jazz! Looking forward to being more active on the forum again (instead of lurking) for the playoff run.

Eh, im thinking he is old and ****ty.Huge blow for the Grizzlies...
if you have internet, i always just watch them from Reddit streams. they're usually really good ones too.

I think we need to hound the **** out of Chris Paul the way the Bulls used to do to John Stockton, stick to Blake Griffin like glue and make someone else like Redick, Moute or DAJ try to playmake.
Then we need to make hay agains the Clips' 2nd unit. Their main guys are going to have to play heavy minutes and it might weigh on them late in games, especially at SLC altitude.
Also Blake can hit 3's now, we need a mobile PF who can guard him out to the 3pt line.

No thanks. JJ, Diaw, Favors, and Hayward are the 4 defenders for Griffin. Ingles not strong enough to deal with Griffin.Stick Jingles on him.
His percentage is as bad as it's always been, he's just shooting a slightly higher volume. Still only hitting one three every other game. Not something I'd really worry about.
