I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that when your ENTIRE defensive philosophy hinges on one guy protecting the rim, dragging him away from the rim causes a cascade of foreseeable collapse.

This is such an over reaction by DL... classic.

The TB minutes in the playoffs weren’t great but guess what... we were plus in those minutes. The problem was we had no perimeter defenders... so we addressed a regular season problem with a first and our MLE. Where are all the Udoka is a great pick... he’s Shaq... he will dominate from Day 1... those statements are actually all true because he will be dominating... in the g league.

Like the Jazz are a deep, veteran team that's one player away from truly contending.

We are now a better team. We have a solid 8 man rotation for the playoffs. Unfortunately without addressing our perimeter defense we will still fall short of deep playoff aspirations.
