They went from 88% of their largest population in the world being in extreme proverty to less than 1% according to the world Bank. Meanwhile the USA has gone from 1.7% to 4.3% during that and time. That's a roughly 850 million people getting out of poverty. No country has ever had that kind of turn around, nor is any country close.

And China really sucks at a lot of things.
