What awesome things did he campaign on? Is mexico finally going to pay for that wall this time? Is america finally going to be great again this time? What is his plan for covid? What is his plan for healthcare? How about wealth inequality? How about the national debt? How about education? What is he going to do about the division in the country? Does he have a plan to try to bring us together? Does he even want that?

You explained that Biden simply not being trump is not how to get your vote. So how did trump get your vote? What was his magic campaign strategy? Was it the R next to his name on the ballot?

When Trump was asked what his agenda was for his second term he basically said "Well I'm really smart and awesome."
 
I’m taking November 4th off as I plan on getting super buzzed the night of November 3rd in celebration of Trump’s fall.

I said something to the effect of "If Trump and I were left alone in a room together Trump would never leave that room."

That is NOT a threat against Trump supporters. I have never done that.

That is not me threatening to kill Trump, as it is a hypothetical situation that would not and could not ever happen. I am not actively trying to get in a room alone with Trump.

I got a suspension for the post I made (or at least a very stern warning/infraction) and I have not made any similar statements since.

Notice that a portion has been edited out. I don't have a record of what exactly I said. Needless to say it was not appropriate. What I do know is that I have NEVER threatened to kill Trump supporters simply for being Trump supporters.

The american public is so stupid that name recognition is important. especially in rust belt states necessary to win the EC. People want a return to some semblance of normalcy, going with an old proven commodity is more safe than a gamble with an unknown.

I would’ve preferred Warren. I agree a lot with her politics and she’s smart as hell. I also like Mayor Pete. if we didn’t have the EC I think they would’ve been better candidates. But we need to win the EC which means taking a more conservative approach (no way a Harvard professor from Mass or a gay man wins any swing state) . His name recognition in those swing states is big imo.

get rid of the EC and I think you’ll start to see better candidates. The most popular candidate will win, not the guy who appeals to Florida and the rust belt. Getting rid of the EC would eliminate so many problems in our system right now.

I liked Mayor Pete until he exposed how corporatist he is. Like he was racing Biden for the middle of the road. But, man, he sure talks pretty.

The only candidate in the Democratic primary who I would have picked Biden over was Bloomberg.

Look, I'm not trying to get into it with you or anything, but honest question, if Biden had just said a bunch of nasty **** about Mexicans would it have helped bring you over?

I'm just trying to understand the appeal of Trump.

I can't explain the appeal of Trump. I'm not the biggest political person but I just wasn't interested in a Biden presidency.

I can explain why you were already leaning trump and explain his appeal to you. It's simple. Two party system. You are republican. trump is republican.
