I wonder why the tarp was covering up the name of the ship in the first place?

The story, if you read reliable sources and not those with clickbait headlines, was not that the ship was moved, the name of the ship was covered up etc., but that officials in the White House and in the Navy actually had these conversations about whether they should do any of the above. Our president is a child who has to be handled and his tender feelings protected. According to Trump, these were "well-meaning" people who had these conversations.

I’ve seen it stated otherwise in real life and on here. Repeatedly. Seems to be the fringe left mostly but it is out there.

I'd go so far as to say they were all comfortable enought with or ignorant of (although I have a hard time seeing how that's possible) Trump's sexism and racism. I guess that doesn't make them all racists or sexists, but it clearly wasn't a deal breaker.

Fair enough. I was originally a Ted Cruz guy but his downfall at least to me was he started to become obsessed with Donald Trump. Everything he said turned into a long winded tirade about Trump instead of how he himself would address fixing issues in the country.

That's when I started to lose faith in him as a candidate. I still think he'd make a great president, but that was a big turn off for me.

There really wasn't another Republican I liked. Most of the ones I probably could have been okay with went out early because the Republican base just loved the gross ones.
