BOTH my Steelers and the Jazz are officially rebuilding at the same time..
Good times.
Good times.
I saw this the other day.. I think it would have been awesome. The WW. The Logo. You can call them the Commies though, so thats fun.
Ya, what a horrible name.
Its the greatest invention in sports history. Red Zone is perfect. And the guy who narrates/runs Red Zone is the best in the business. He should be getting paid really well as I dont think anyone could do a better job. And I find it weird that football bores Cy. I feel like the NFL is the best its ever been right now. So so good. Seems like they have got instant replay figured out and working perfectly, they have penalties figured out as well in regards to targeting and things like that (players have adjusted to the rules well). Just such a great product. And fantasy football is so fun as well.Redzone was a game changer for me as far as watching NFL.
Similar for me. I used to be a die hard colts and Oregon ducks fan and never missed a game. But slowly started losing interest for various reasons and now just don't really care to watch. I still keep track of the box scores, and watch the Superbowl but that's about it. If there was a really big game and friends were watching I would watch with them but not interested more than that. It's great though, freed up a lot of time wasted. Pretty much all I watch sports wise now is some big games and most Jazz games but usually on delay. Although last year I probably only watched half of them. I used to feel obligated to watch a ton of sports for my job but it's not that important.I just cant get back into football. It was a big thing with my family (my dad played college) so I watched it when I was a kid and I enjoyed it (the Saints were very good then).
Now I watch football and it just bores the **** out of me.

Sounds like a good idea but just guessing hereSo I've been watching a lot of Premier League Football the past 2 years and really enjoyed it. With the NFL season starting the major difference I see is the width of the fields. Why are NFL fields so narrow? I feel like the game could be a lot more exciting with receivers running & leaping and quarterbacks running around, etc.
Also I would think more complex plays could be drawn up having the extra width to play with.
Anyone know why they don't consider making the fields wider?

Would they have to tear it down? It doesn't have to be as wide as a soccer field I think about 10 yards to start with on each side could make a big different.Sounds like a good idea but just guessing here
Would have to tear down every football stadium in USA to make the field wider
NFL College High School etc
Would cost billions if not more

That much space would be scoring non stop. No defense can defend that much space. So I've been watching a lot of Premier League Football the past 2 years and really enjoyed it. Well that would depend on how much wider it is. How about 5 yards on either side? I think that's a good compromise. That much space would be scoring non stop. No defense can defend that much space.
