2023 NBA Draft Megathread

GG Jackson from today. He missed a last-second 3pt shot in OT to tie the game. Finished with 18/9 and 4 stls. However, turnovers were a problem, as Georgia's guards were able to blindside him and get several some strips. Efficiency wasn't great, but there were a couple rushed attempts at the end of the game that skewed his numbers.

Taylor Hendricks and Jarace Walker battling... Hendricks is giving me some Jerami Grant vibes. He's quick off the floor to contest shots as a help defender, and loves to attack the rim on drives. Handle is a bit loose, but he gathers himself well. He should be reliable as a straight-line driver. Shooting touch is encouraging.

I don’t think I’ve ever watched this many games in a 48 hr period, good lord.

Cason Wallace was fantastic tonight. Most college players are spaz’s but he’s so poised. Scored when he needed to, hit 3’s, got to the hoop and drew fouls, so many great entry passes, absolute beast on defense. Love that kid.

Dick was eh tonight. Wallace defended him a lot and did well on him. Dick did hit a dagger 3 on Wallace though, and defended well in spurts. Just a mediocre game for him.

Jalen Hood-Schifino really impressed me tonight. Didn’t hurt he was on absolute fire in the first half from 3 and ended like 6/8 or something. Dudes a big guard who handles well, facilitates and D’s the **** up. He’s a top 20 guy for me right now.

Sensabaugh was the best I’ve seen him out of the 3 full games I’ve watched. He can’t be guarded 1:1 at that level. I will bet that he’s not a legit 6’6” though.

I can’t shake the feeling he’s walking bucket but nothing else though. It’s wild how skilled he is in ISO but doesn’t impact the game in any other ways. But what he does well, he’s elite at.

I get the sense that Sensabaugh is going to make some big buckets in the NBA. I'm trying to think if there is a better iso-scorer in this draft.

Maxwell Lewis on right now.

5 points in like 3 mins to start the 2nd half and at the free throw line for a 6th.

His teammates are so so bad, my god.

He might be in my top 5. The defense is real and I just feel he's waiting to explode on the skill front
I’ve been a fan for awhile, but I’m starting to get Kawhi Leonard / Jimmy Butler #1 option w/defense type vibes.

If we miss out on Wemby, Walker is the guy I think I really hope we end up with. Would absolutely LOVE Walker/GG with the first two picks and then try to trade up for Hendricks or Hawkins.

I watched them one night and their big guy made like three of the worst turnovers I’ve seen in like a span of 5 possessions and I just couldn’t watch. Changed the channel.

Sensabraugh has a lot of James Harden in him. I hope his rebounding translates.
