The 2024 draft appears to be chock full of big wings....like even more so than 2023. Who knows how good they are, but there are about a dozen of them.

Let someone else take a flier on Wembanyama… that’s a weird sentence. Even if his shooting never pans out. Which I think he’ll at least be serviceable. He has all of Goberts strength on offense and none of his weaknesses, and looks like a generational talent on defense as a rim protector and he’s ten times more coordinated on offense then Gobert. I think he’s got less bust ability than anyone in this draft even if he ends up not being able to shoot.I still say let someone else take a flier on Wembanyama. Go for someone more solid. His offense and decision-making are just plain bad.
I think this is all accurate, but you are discounting the very real health concerns.Let someone else take a flier on Wembanyama… that’s a weird sentence. Even if his shooting never pans out. I don’t know what kind of injury history he has, but if he pans out, your team becomes a serious title contender within 3 years. You just shouldn’t pass that up.I think this is all accurate, but you are discounting the very real health concerns.
I have watched a ton a tape on Wemby but the history of players in the NBA over 7'1"
This video really makes me worry.
I like Lively and Ware later in the first.

He's an incomparable outlierhe made that video with the idea that wembanyama is 7'3". dude measured 7'4" without shoes. most of those guys he showed on that video were listed at their in shoes height. VW is 7'5" or 7'6" in shoes. the chances of him staying healthy are slim to none.
