2023 NBA Draft Megathread

I hate comparing guys like Black to Lonzo just because the deep 3 ball was such a huge part to what Lonzo did that it's hard to compare anyone who doesnt have that in their game to him.

I dont consider guys like Black to be PG's. Guys his size rarely ever are good enough at ball-handling to be full-time on ball guards at the NBA level. He's probably going to be a swiss army knife type connector, a guy who does a bit of everything and plays all over the court.

Its shades of Lonzo/Giddey to me... that is the player type. May not be a full time "creator" and you can run them with another pg for sure.

PG - ???
SG - Agbaji
SF - Brandon Miller
PF - Lauri
C - Walker
At that point throw all remaining assets to get Haliburton. Then you have:

PG - Haliburton
SG - Adbaji
SF - Miller
PF - Lauri
C - Kessler

Wow.

They won’t trade Tyrese… our best use of picks is to find the next Tyrese… either by using the picks or trading to move up.

If the Utah/Minny picks fall like 14 and 16 the aggressive move I’d like to see is using the future picks to move up for guys we want.

I want to like Maxwell Lewis, but his team gets absolutely smoked and they have talent for their conference. I dont get how they are as bad as they are.

Do you see him as the Jazz starting point guard of the future? I have my doubts.
