It’s a smokescreen to hide our Thompson love.Anti Black fans may hate it, but all signs point to Black being highly valued over Cam, Jarace and others. Let it sink in now and process it. If Ainge loves him then maybe it will be fine.

My balls tell me that's a great pick... so Cy's gut and my balls have confirmed its going to be okay.Fire your gut.
Because he was likely more open. Easy to understand.31 out of the 93 he took. Not that small. 14 out of the 28 he made were from NBA range.
Or just random variance in a smallish sample.Because he was likely more open. Easy to understand.
Exactly right. They extra cost could be the difference in having what is needed to trade for Luka or something. If the jazz like one guy a little more than another but the guy they like a little more costs a first round pick (the value of firsts seems to have increased since we made our big trades as well) then I would rather keep the first round pick and take the guy we really like, just really like a little less than the most costly guy.Even in your analogy, you like one car more than the rest, it's just the extra cost that gives you pause.
You'll get excited if it happens. He's awesome.I don’t know why but just taking Hendricks at 9 is a little underwhelming… can’t exactly pinpoint why as he’s 8th on my big board but I just have higher aspirations.
I think the Jazz would take Bilal over Hendricks. He's more athletic, more versatile offensively, longer and younger. Just more upside. But they'd have to believe his shooting will come along.
