2024-25 Trade Rumors Thread

I would give up a hell of a lot more for Whitmore than just Collins. Unfortunately the window for stealing him may have passed with injuries forcing him back into the rotation and him showing out. If his minutes disappear again once Eason is back then we should throw a strong offer at them.
That's easy. Just take Dillon Brooks off their book as he's now a negative asset for them. Amen/Eason basically does everything he does and better and he still got 3yr/60mil left on his deal. Collins for Whitmore+Brooks works. Give them a Cavs pick if they want it.

HOU is going to be after the big fish, but I still think they need a low stakes move to improve that backup big position. Landale and Adams have not been great. Whitmore is a good prospect, but not one that can fit into their healthy rotation. Expirings+Whitmore is what I had in mind for a trade. They're going to want to keep Brooks for now.

If 3pt shooting didnt exist this post might make sense.

I am not sold on both teams being amazing for 3 - 4 years. Time will tell. Stocks go up and down for every team.

Still, trading Conley and NAW to Minny was a disaster. They were falling apart at the seems before we sent them Mike.
No way Minnesota is good for that long. Conley is near the end this year and Gobert is showing signs of age. They are a game over .500 and the West has a lot of teams fighting for a playoff spot. Plus injuries can change any teams direction. Of the two teams, Cavs will be good for several years barring injuries.

Yes. A 34% career 3pt shooter on less than 2 makes per game is very irreplaceable and worth every penny of that 3yr/60mil contract. Let's pretend Klay Thompson didn't just sign with the Mavs for less money lol
Really doing your best to cherry pick data to make your point. He's shooting 38% this season. Using career numbers just makes you look like a dunce.

Collins / Kessler - HOU
Brooks / Smith Jr/ Whitmore - UTA

Sexton - ORL

Lakers getting worse what a horrible trade now they are banking on trading the remainder of their 1st rounders for another player they are selling the farm all for LeBronwyn
LeBronwyn’s legacy at the lakers will be destroying their future assets all to chase a title in which they are no where near competing for OKC runs rings around them
