Collins to LAC for Tucker/DJJ/filler in a three-team deal where we deal DJJ for an asset is something that seems realistic to me.

LAC is not trading DJJ. He's been great for them. Mann is way more realistic to be traded than DJJ. He's a worse player on a bad deal.
The Clippers need a backup scoring guard in the worst way. Clarkson/Sexton makes a lot more sense for them both need and salary wise.

Pistons have to make a move by the Sunday to reach the salary floor. They are only $1.4M away, so they could just sign someone. But timing around DEC 15th suggests they might have something cooking trade wise.
Forgot about the weird 1st round wrinkle in the contract he signed with the Jazz.

The usual suspects seem to be mad at me for sticking to my guns and saying that Collins and Sexton still have no market. Shrug.
Not trying to be a contrarian. It's just that people keep trying to talk these trades into existence but there's never any real interest. Ainge will have to take a big L if he wants to get rid of these dudes. Not sure he can stomach that.
Ainge's Jazz career has been full of some of the worst GM'ing I've ever seen. Incomprehensible (or nonexistent) strategy, bad drafting, publicly lying to his own players, reluctant communication. Just a clown show.
Maybe firing Danny Ainge is the first step on the road back to relevance. He seems to be more invested in BYU than the Jazz anyway. Let him devote 100% of his energy to it instead of just 90%.

Schroder is a good defender though. He also has a lot of high level experience (playoffs and international).
Honestly this is great news for the Sexton market. It's not great news for his possible value, but it takes a similar archetype off that market.
Can you be specific in what taking a L looks like? Like they wont get anything back or are you saying they will have to pay to get off them?
ANd honestly Brooklyn probably got less than what they could have because they are desperate to lose more.
