I think the Kings are a potentially perfect partner. Desperation + bad franchise + lack of depth + flawed build + aging star making star money on longterm deal = gold unprotected pick.Kings trade would need to be Huerter+Lyles+something for Collins. Then we likely redirect Huerter somewhere else.

If they ain’t giving a lightly-protected pick then I don’t know what the point is. We already basically have too much quantity of picks. They aren't giving up an unprotected pick.
Carter or no dealIf they ain’t giving a lightly-protected pick then I don’t know what the point is. We already basically have too much quantity of picks.
A single lightly protected pick for a near-20/10 50/40/90 sounds fair to me. I’m also not dying to get rid of Collins.

People keep trying to talk these deals into existence and I'll keep saying they won't happen.Clarkson is playing super good in December. If he keeps this up for another month, he can get a taker.
I like the idea of trying to move up from the Cavs pick.I wonder if the Mavs would want Clarkson. They could use a better 3rd creator off the bench than DinWiddie. Kleber for Clarkson works straight up. Kleber is having an awful year. Maybe swap the Cavs pick and Mavs pick?
