I think Rudy cares more about being recognized by the coaches more than fans though. I’m sure he felt more slighted by the coaches than the fans last year.

Either way, he cares about being an all Star.I think Rudy cares more about being recognized by the coaches more than fans though. I’m sure he felt more slighted by the coaches than the fans last year.
Gobert cares about getting in, not what fans think.
Are the jazz hated amongst the general nba fan or is it a small market Utah thing?
Exactly.Gobert cares about getting in, not what fans think.
Fan vote doesnt get you in. Fan voting is a popularity contest. Gobert knows he isnt popular. I dont get putting any energy into caring that much about what national media outlets say (unless we are talking about srs writers).
Because guys can pretend they don't care all they want, they do.Fan vote doesnt get you in. Fan voting is a popularity contest. Gobert knows he isnt popular. I dont get putting any energy into caring that much about what national media outlets say (unless we are talking about srs writers).

Unless I'm missing something relatively new, the fan voting only affects the starters. The coaches vote for the reserves.I don't care
Gobert cares about being an all Star though. Fans have the ability to effect who becomes an all star. So since like you said gobert knows he isn't popular, it would make sense that gobert cares about the dumbass fact that dumbass fans effect the chances of him being an all Star.
In conclusion, who cares? Gobert cares.
