Yeah Cenk the guy I called an asset hole, a douchebag, said lost the debate, and disliked him dismissing the other side as dumb. Go him!

There isn't much that Shapiro refers to as well. Just a lot of tactics to try and win the argument.

I am guessing I agree slightly more with Shapiro over Cenk on this subject. I tend to be pretty conservative when it comes to economics. Although I think there are problems with some things from both sides.

They both made correct statements at times but presented it in an either or fashion to try and price the other wrong. But some of them like what boosts the economy, middle class spending or rich people financing business isn't a mutual exclusive concept. They can can both be correct.

Shapiro from this reminds me of Hannity. He uses a lot of the same tactics. But Shapiro is much smarter and more quick witted.

Conservatives still care about economics? Thought they're all about 'Murica First now, economics be damned.

Hannity is all about carrying water for a particular brand - and that is solely republicans being in power and democrats not being power. Ideals are secondary. Imagine if Obama was trying to push through with these tariffs?

I'd like to think Shapiro is different but I'm not sure.

That is an issue, both parties don't have great economic strategies anymore from what I see. But I'm still more conservative in general in my preferences but I don't mean that in terms of liberal vs conservatives. I mean that just in general economics terms of conservative.

Ah, a neoliberal capitalist pig, like me.

They don't share all the same opinions. I'm talking about their tactics more than their beliefs.

I'm sure there is some liberal person who uses the same tactics but I'm not sure who. Maybe bill Maher but he isn't really a liberal I guess. I also haven't listened to him in awhile but he also used to use a lot of those same things in his debates.

I must have missed these debates by Mahr. Every time I've seen him he seems to resort to indignancy, as if that's an argument. His greatest strength is that he never debates in a venue where the crowd isn't behind him.

I go out of my way to not watch him. He just seems like a dick evertime I hear him. He used to use tactics in arguing with his guests on his show. But I have no idea what he does on his show now.

Same here. He's a pompous *******, I've never been a fan.

The only piece there that I would say was excessively agenda driven was the Washington Examiner. They basically call her stupid and say that Chris Cumo should have asked if she was high during her interview. The other's gave a pretty straight forward version of the issue, with Fox News providing much more of Shapiro's response to being accused of catcalling. The first two don't seem all that slanted towards AOC, but don't provide much more than a sentence or two of Shapiro's response.
