My hell... are we still refuting basic myths about health care?

We have the least efficient and most expensive health care system in the developed world by a long shot. It’s because of our ridiculous privatized system, not lack of one. If we want to become more efficient then we desperately need more “socialism.”

Time and time again single payer systems prove that that they work by:

a) providing universal coverage
b) lower overall costs to both patients and country.
c) being the only moral way to deliver health care to the masses. Why should Americans die or become bankrupt for lack of health care coverage? How can we live with ourselves knowing that the rich and healthy receive the best care while those in need of health care the most don’t receive it?

It’s time to wake up. “Socialized medicine” isn’t a bad thing. For most of us, it would be a godsend.

Somehow no one seemed to give a **** how we were planning on paying for Iraq or Afghanistan or a trillion dollar giveaway to billionaires, but we need a ****ing 30 point plan from a not even elected junior representative during an interview with Jake Tapper in order to take her seriously.

**** these people are exhausting.
 
Trumponomics is going to usher in a brand new era with a group of mentally entrenched Americans on economic policy. Reagan's work rolled on for nearly 30 years after he changed minds. Results matter and Trump is showing them just like Reagan. You'll have people remembering for a long time how good the economy was. They had good jobs back then. Incomes were rising across the board...

The Washington Consensus might be replaced with a neo, Trumpian version.

Trump has to get reelected first before this has any chance of happening.

1) Is asking how are we going to pay for these things a legitimate question or concern? Trust me, I'm on board to health care reforms and health care for all. The amount of health care expenses, headaches and fighting my insurance company the last 7 or so years is beyond ridiculous to me. There are so many people who have it way worse than me too.

2) When you say no one cares about giving a **** about Afghanistan or Iraq or trillion dollar giveaways to billionaires, are you lumping me into that assumption as well?



Sometimes, people are for or against certain policies regardless of political party affiliation. To me, it's certainly not a crazy concept to think this way.

Trump and the R's will be buying votes left and right. The Santa Clause rally is coming and it'll be strong. R's will tout growth, jobs, growth, jobs, wages and push even more money into the economy, targeted at where they can get the most vote bang for the buck. They'll sell the steaming hot economy and tell us not to let the democrats ruin it, which of course the D's are already scheming and plotting to do. There's no stopping Trump if the D's lose this November.

It’s true the midterms this November will be in large part a referendum on Trump, but Republicans keeping control of the House is far from a foregone conclusion. Here’s 538’s latest forecasting model:

If they hold both the House and Senate it would be a huge upset, euphoric Republicans would probably pass anything Trump wants, although knowing now what he wants is beyond me, probably beyond Trump as well.

You wouldn’t be alone. What I worry about is Trumps base meeting those people in the streets. We’ve already seen signs of it starting.

Instead of being deadest on satisfying your confirmation bias to smear this politician, how about you ask yourself why you're so quick to insult her, to the point where you're sharing fake news?
