If you take the best 1-2 years of AK and Ming, you can certainly make a case. Ming was plagued by injuries and AK by Russian novels.
Not sure what the rules are: do you judge by overall careers, or just by each player at his peak?

I simply can't vote against a backcourt of the GOAT and the Big O.

Oscar was great for the development of the game of basketball and was incredible for his time, but that doesn't mean he would be able to dominate the greatest defender at the PG position ever in Gary Payton.

If this were real life and these were real prospects we were drafting for a real game. I would laugh my *** off if someone picked Oscar Robertson over Dwayne Wade or Derrick Rose. Or even Barkley, Robinson, Carter, or Ginobli.

oscar will be a dominant player in any era IMO. one of those very rare 60's player who are transcendent talent. 6ft 5 220lb guy who was built like a tank with fadeway jumper and post up game. it's hard to guard guys like oscar. i don't even think MJ would completely lock down oscar. oscar just was a master. he could should off the pivot at will.

oscar can release his jump shots from various angles. and he had that weird body type that is not common in PG position. if you look at his body, he is built like MMA guys. all functional muscle. whenever i think of 'big o', i always think of 'big boned'. he just had that natural thickness to him. and i really can't find his weakness. he didn't shoot 3s because nobody shot 3s. outside of that, what's his real weakness? i really can't think of any. he will be bigger than any PG he will face except magic. he can post up against any PG including glove. he is just a perfect player.

very simple player i might add, but IMO simple always wins in the game of basketball. if you think about all the great players are simple. tim duncan is epitome of simple. john stockton too. oscar doesn't know half the moves kyrie irving has. oscar has no additives. but i think it will work in today's nba. 6ft 5 chauncey billups with much better rebounding, shooting, post up game, and playmaking ability is my guess.

Westbrook makes dumb decisions. Chris Paul is limited physically. Harden doesn't play defense. Steph is limited physically. I'm not say these players suck. I'm just saying. Rose is just better.
