I used to play bass guitar in thrash/death metal band in 90's. Can play a bit on drums and regular guitar as well. My 8 year old started guitar lessons recently and I feel it is time to get myself a bass to jam at home just for fun and to keep her company as well...
So anybody else here plays any instruments or shares passion for heavy music?
 
I play the electic guitar. Started with Death Metal but I am mostly playing blues right now. I am not much talented but I enjoy to jam from time to time.
 
I'm definitely not a musician as I just mainly like to play cover songs, but I can learn songs very quickly on the guitar and I'm decent on the ukulele.

Picked up guitar two years ago-- I'm pure garbage. Haven't had the commitment (i'm quite involved) to really dedicate myself to playing every 1 or 2 days. I wish I had learned any instrument from a younger age.

Not really into playing 'heavy' music. I prefer Jazz, Blues, and Funk.


I can do a couple of things with my little brother's drum-set doe.

I am finding myself enjoying any kind of music lately as long as it is played well and with passion. If you like jazz try this album - jazz/metal at best.

Can play guitar a bit, sing a bit, play drums a bit...really just strum chords though. It's been a few years since I played regularly. Wasn't there someone on the site that uploaded their music a few years back (not referencing Dals "music vids".)
 
Drums. Played in a hardcore band in high school but isn't my style. My cousin and I were looking to start a band and at the time anyone who happened to play also happened to be a scenester. It was fun, though.

Started off with guitar, actually. Dreamed of being a rock star from 5th grade through sophomore year of high school or so. Glad that never worked out. Most of the use my drums get now are my kids beating the crap out of them.
 
I'm a musician. Don't play guitar well, and have met very few guitar players that I like.
