What are yours?

Mine:

- Missing the first free throw. If you’re going to miss one, miss the second.

- Missing a technical free throw.

- The playing catching the inbound pass to end a quarter with only a second or two left just dribbling out the clock. This was a huge problem a couple years ago but haven’t seen it recently. If you’re concerned about your percentages, go sit on the bench. At the very least, don’t accept an inbound pass. Let someone shoot it who has the courage to do so.

- 8 second violations. Pay attention. There should never be a reason for an 8 second violation beyond pure laziness or just being completely careless.

Not going for the 2 to 1 possessions at the ends of quarters. I mean someone tell me, is this actually not a good strategy because from my simple point of view, getting that extra possession is worth taking one quick shot.

Example: Jazz inbound the ball with 34 seconds left in the qtr/half, they should ideally get a shot off with 26s-28s left so that they get the last shot.

That’s one I forgot to mention. Eventually someone will crunch some numbers on that, if they haven’t already.

I actually hate it because half the time they end up taking a super ****** shot and then have like three seconds in the clock. Then instead of shooting a heave they join the fg% savers club and let the clock run out.

As a Center from Jr Jazz all the way to highschool ball, working your *** off on the block and getting ignored while the guards do nothing with ball. Then when they finally do pass it and they throw a pass to the knees like the Center is 6'0.

Not calling a timeout and not running a play at the end of the first half.

Not using all the timeouts in the first half (I can understand being careful with them in the second half since they’re most useful in end-of-game situations).

Sticking to a strict rotation when you're struggling, yet someone has a hot hand. Leave him in the game.
And as fish mentioned, use the damn challenges, they don't fine you for it.
