Best shows on TV?

Did anyone else watch Carnival Row? If so, what did you think?

If you haven't I definitely give it a recommend. Before watching it, read up on some of the terminology so you understand what they're saying/referencing. I didn't and it took me 5 or so shows in for everything to start clicking so I may decide to give it a rewatch, which is something I rarely do.

A bit late to the party but True Detective Season 3 is the best one yet.

Great acting and tackling a real issue of race.

Keeps you guessing all the way til the end.

Great camera work, music, acting.

Can't fault it.

Mr Robot is pretty good this year.

I've also mentioned Lodge 49 a few times, haven't seen anything else about it in this thread, but it is fun. I didn't think I'd like it but it is one of my favorite shows. Plus I love the female lead, she is pretty much exactly "my type."

Lulz at that season “tackling a real issue of race.”

Anybody catch that line in El Camino about cocaine being invented before Brigham Young was born? Made me laugh.
Ya and then there was another line about Mormons soon after.

Speaking of El Camino. I loved breaking bad. Possibly the greatest show of all time. I really like better call Saul as well. And El Camino had some of what is great about those shows. I love the directing/the way it's shot.
Not Aaron Paul isn't a good enough actor and Jessie isn't a good enough character to be the lead. Jessie is a good supporting character and Aaron Paul is a good supporting actor. The movie was a let down for me.

I watched a tv series (well I watched some of it anyway) a while back that had Aaron Paul as the lead actor. He just isn't that good imo. He lucked out getting the role of Jessie on such a great show like breaking bad.
