Won Spurs bet, only down $140 for the night. Come on GSW and Memphis!

GSW did it. I cut my losses for the night in half alread. Now I just want Memphis to win. I put another $10 on them just now, at +350.

I'm conflicted about contributing here. I wouldn't want to give certain assholes in this thread high-quality free picks, so I guess I'll do some monday morning QB'ing instead.

If people were friendly around here, I'd easily flex the muscle and demonstrate the skills, while explaining myself -- I make this **** look easy and seem to get more accurate every season..

Anyways - Tonight the Chicago game was obviously going to be a blowout- I was going to sound the alarm here but chose not to. If you were focused elsewhere, you should probably re-think that. I pulled all my bets and dumped everything on Chicago once Nerlens was ruled out.

I remember about 10 years ago, Jason had a pretty cool set up on Jazzfanz where you would predict whether The Jazz win or lose and the point differential. I came in second one year - I think it was the 2003-04 season. Blew it on the last game of the season. Then he got rid of it the year before they got DWILL - The Jazz won like 25games. I guess no one was playing.

Would be interesting to get that up and running again.

Get ready, this is probably just the beginning. I can see Congress getting on this bandwagon within the next year or so. The perfect issue to make it appear like they're actually doing something.

The New York State attorney general on Tuesday ordered the two biggest daily fantasy sports companies, DraftKings and FanDuel, to stop accepting bets in New York, saying that their games constituted illegal gambling under state law, according to people with knowledge of his investigation.

The cease-and-desist order by the attorney general, Eric T. Schneiderman, is a major blow to a multibillion-dollar industry that introduced sports betting to legions of young sports fans and has formed partnerships with many of the nation’s professional sports teams. Given the New York attorney general’s historic role as a consumer-protection advocate, legal experts say the action will most likely reverberate in other states where legislators and investigators are increasingly questioning whether the industry should operate unfettered by regulations that govern legalized gambling.

It's crazy how these sites have been around for years, but have just recently brought all this attention on themselves through their excessive advertising. I wonder if the added revenue they got in the short-run is ultimately worth it.
